I think if I had read the 4 books that comprise this excellent series in order I would have been able to follow and make more sense of some of it. Now I guess I'll have to re-read it...

Not bad. Better than the Crossfire series, certainly. But even though I know romance novels to be usually unrealistic and often insta-lust/insta-love, for some reason whenever this author does it, these plots seem even more ludicrous.
The other storylines were mostly decent, depending on the novel.
My favorite characters: Christopher, Maria, Lysette -
Ludicrous and smutty. In other words, great fun!

I love her regency romances. The dichotomy of the era and the hot hot sex is just too sexy... Plus unlike some other books there is actually a story without the sexy sex- it's just much better with it in...
