Pretty good book for a commentary on Dionysian iconography in sixth century vase painting. He discussed relating literature a lot which was helpful at times however some sections were quite long winded and off-topic. Overall very useful :)

Relatively interesting and sound discussion of a widely ignored subject. He goes on some mildly exhausting tangents, but overall this is an impressive look at the iconography of Dionysos in Attic vase painting. Not exactly light summer reading, but for any archaeology/art history buffs, it's worth taking a look at.
