Betty \u0026 Veronica's Princess Storybook (Archie \u0026 Friends All-Stars) Reviews
-
Nice twist to see Archie characters in these fairytales!
-
The Archie writers are such trolls:
"You'll have to choose between the two of us!" "I don't see how! This could go on for years!"
-Love all the artsy illustrations before each story.
-Archie wears his original orange-checkered when when Beast.
-Josie and the Pussycats sighting! -
A pleasant enough dose of nostalgia, with some good moments of storytelling. +1 star for the girls deciding to dump Archie, -1 for Veronica getting the short end of the stick in every story. I'm #TeamBetty but Ronnie should've been Snow White!
-
Okay, so that this felt like AU fanfic and I was absolutely here for it!! You bring my two favourite comic book characters, and then mix them in with my favourite Disney princess stories?? So exciting
-
silly adaptation (graphic novel) to several classic stories.
-
These Betty & Veronica fairytale re-tellings were super cute.
-
These Re-tellings are so sweet and modern...if you're a fan of Betty & Veronica these stories are a must...
-
Funny and cute

Really fun

Great Read!!
I love how the told well-known stories with their own spin on them. I’ve always been an Archie fan and this one was great! -
I don't usually read graphic novels, but I decided to pick up this one because I love Riverdale. It was an interesting approach to a retelling of some fairytales.
-
Why isn't Veronica the princess?! Veronica should have at least 1 fairytale where she is the princess!
-
Betty and Veronica, along with Archie, Jughead and friends, return to take on more of your favorite fairytales in this follow-up to the popular *Betty & Veronica Storybook*! *Betty & Veronica's Princess Storybook* is the irresistable combination of classic fairytales and two of the most iconic characters in comic book history. Betty and Veronica portray famous princesses from stories including *Rapunzel*, *Beauty & the Beast*, *Snow White*, and *The Little Mermaid*, all with the patented Archie brand of fun and charm!

For fans of the Betty and Veronica series from Archie comics, this is a definite addition to any collection. Featuring the gang that we have come to know and love, the book features four fairy tales starring everyone's favorite BFFs as the titular characters of the stories. Before each story is a little history on each fairy tale given by writer Dan Parent. It is a fun read for Archie fans of all ages!

3.5*
I would definitely recommend this collection to fans of the B&V series, fans of Archie Comics, and fans of fairy tale retellings. But, none of these are really all that great. They are quick reads, and they are fun - but, that's just it.
They are full of the B-A-V love triangle, and filled with silly pop culture references that don't need to be there. Like Veronica mentioning Kim Kardashian, then saying she doesn't even know who that is. -
I needed a quick read after reading a very action packed book that would be very easy and simple. This was it. I've always had a love of Archie comics, more on the Sabrina the Teenage Witch or Josie and the Pussycats side, but this had such adorable renditions of classic fairy tales that I couldn't resist. Perfect for any age and definitely a good read!
-
Fun re-imaginings of popular fairy tales done in the style of Archie comics that include plenty of quirky anachronistic jokes, including a cringeworthy Utah/polygamy one (Yikes).

It was okay. All of the stories were also in Betty & Veronica: Fairy Tales. I didn't realize that so....
