the first part of the book (40%) felt like a regurgitation of all the introductory classes for psychology. The terminology felt basic and I learned more about personal experiences that cannot be all applied then how to apply the little new material that was explained.
I have the vocabulary, but if I did not have any additional training this would have not done me any good. (I’m face I’m not sure it did at all).
There is the case that this book overlooked all the bad aspects that can come with sexuality depending on how you were raised- the basic terminology to help people who don’t understand their own desires and needs. Those who might not want to be out there yet or at all.
What about them?
There are better books and textbooks on this subject matter.
I wish my professor had done a better research instead of getting what Mc Graw Hill offered for the pick of the month. If I’m having to pay money on books might as well not make it a waste of space on my shelf.
