Penguin Classics: A Complete Annotated Listing Reviews
-
Thank you Penguin Random House for creating the ongoing Annotated listing. This book took me down memory lane, and got me all excited over reading the other classics I have in piles waiting to be read.
Now, if I could just find older versions of the Annotated listing to add to my Penguin collection that would be splendid. My Penguin collection was technically started with one from the 1960's that my father read at University. I think is was a translation of the "Odyssey".
And somthing super cool would be a coffee table style book with the covers of different editions over the years. -
Great book that will add books to your “want to” read list (and the should have already read list!)

Just imported the entire collection of 1315 Penguin Classics books from the official website:
https://www.penguin.co.uk/classicslis.... Those who are interested in finding classic works may find them on my GR shelf labeled "penguin-classics." -
Excellent companion of All Penguin Classics. !

Read the sonnets and 5 plays for a class. I like Shakespeare - but I understand him much better after spending time in the classroom going over the plays carefully and hearing someone else's viewpoint besides my own.
