iFeel (Vis Vires Trilogy, #1) Reviews

The more I read the more sophisticated my taste in books becomes. Personally it’s not the story, or the plot, but what really propels a book from average to great is the author’s voice. Spice that with witty, charming characters—I’m hooked.
Mrs. Marissa Carmel had me at hello. From the first page of iFeel, her debut novel, I was impressed with her voice and exquisite style. What Amazon allowed through the “look inside” feature wasn’t enough for me; I had to have the book.
Let me just say that the cover does perfect justice to the novel. Enigmatic, curiosity, fragility are only a few words that come to mind just by looking at the cover.
Liv Christiani is not your average girl despite the fact that she drinks, hates crowded places, dyes her hair and avoids her parents’ phone calls. Why isn’t she average? Well, she has superpowers. Powers that eventually put her and her loved ones in danger and the only way out is to accept who she is: an Empath. Her struggle to understand who and what she is comes at a heavy price, nearly being killed by a Spirit Stalker. But wait! This is not all. Enter hot (inside and out) Justice, the one and only really seeing Liv for what she is for the first time. Surreal characters, drama and action come to complete the story.
The only thing I didn’t like was the story being stagnant in places, when Liv waits for things to happen rather than wanting to go out there and discovering on her own the new world she is part of, but again that’s personal preference.
I stop here when it comes to describing the plot. What I’d like to emphasize is Mrs. Carmel’s voice. She’s a storyteller with incredible talent in word choice, descriptions and scene creation. Impressive for someone coming out with such a great debut novel. I look forward to the sequel of iFeel and to Liv’s new adventures. She’s so ready! -

First, I’d like to give applause to the cover of iFeel. It easily piqued my interest and it truly resembles what the book is all about. Great cover!
Unlike the other reviewers, I received my copy with little or no error almost, so I have nothing against the grammar thing.
Ifeel is a rather fast-read I think, I didn’t realize I was at the end of the book, until I felt that there’s only 5 or more pages left..lol- finished this in one sitting…
Ms. Carmel is a talented author who’s writing made ifeel a suspenseful book. Her writing style kept me turning the pages and see what surprises awaits me.:) I also like her sense of humor, there are a lot of times, I laugh out loud and there are also those I cried with the characters. The storyline, plot, descriptions and the emotional conflicts are all interesting and engaging.
I love how the romance developed and its limitations- a love story that’s too perfect is boring:D.
I also love the titles of the chapters; it made me curious as to what it contains. I love the varied characters, and the addition of vampires, spirit stalkers, seraphs, empaths and other supernatural beings the author hasn’t yet presented us and yet it doesn’t make the story complicated.
I think the only negative I could say, is that there are times when the chapter could be omitted, like it doesn’t necessarily need to be a chapter or it lacks action that would really grip the reader’s attention or it is sometimes too short and another thing is up until now, I don’t know how to pronounce Liv, :D- just a small thing actually.
Without the synopsis, I couldn’t figure out what Justinian’s family really is. The author make it vague, by letting Justinian said, that he could be an angel, devil, soldier or protector. This is a bad thing, since I’m frustrated to know what they really are and a good thing, since it keep me reading all the way, just to know, and would surely make me want to read the next book.:)
All in all, iFeel is a world the author created which is very engrossing. It’s still another YA book, but with a lot of twist. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and find out more about this Vis Vires Trilogy.
True to its title- iFeel- this made me feel the depth of this book. If you’re looking for a new read but still in line with paranormal ones, then grab this one! -
So I have to say, I've never actually read or watched any of the works iFeel is compared to in the synopsis, so I'm not really sure how it compares, but I can say that it is an enjoyable read. Carmel starts off really strong, and throws the reader right into some action. The book is fairly fast paced, and I didn't feel like I was having to wade through a bunch of extra stuff just to get to the plot.
The main character Liv is nicely developed and I thought Carmel did a good job of creating a character that while she is anti-social and scared of what she believes is her deteriorating mental health, still manages to be confident, independent, and smart. Justice, her main love interest, is intriguing in his guilt complex and his determination to do his job as a Spirit hunter.
The plot was interesting and I thought the idea of the Spirit Stalkers was an interesting twist. The special abilities Liv, Justice and the Seraphs have are nicely described and I liked that they're still trying to figure out what Liv can do.
There were a few things that bothered me, though. Everyone is wealthy. I never figured out what Liv did to earn money, other than a reference to the family business, but there are lots of references to expensive brands of clothing, fragrances, and purses, along with frequent salon trips. The Seraphs, in addition to their beautiful house, are all gloriously beautiful and immortal.
The final issues was the editing. This really read like an early draft with lots of grammatical and spelling
errors. I also had some issues with the letter 'l' on my Kindle version. Most words with double 'l's came out with the second 'l' missing. I've had this happen before so it might be a formatting error in the Kindle's part, or on the software being used to format it.
Overall, I think iFeel is a great start to a series, and I would definitely consider reading the sequel.

Turning the Pages -
I truly enjoyed this book, I want to give the author props for keeping the story upbeat and fast paced. Meaning that not one moment was I bored or uninterested with the story. Liv is a fun and free spirited character, who unfortunately thinks she's on the verge of a mental crack. Her witticisms and erratic emotional breakdowns keep the POV fun and on edge, always waiting for the next twist to come along.
Living a normal life with "special" gifts is complicated enough but then throw in Justice, and well her world just became a typhoon of information and emotions she never thought she wanted or could handle!!! Justice is also in emotional turmoil and thinks his life immortal as it may be doesn't deserve love either. I love that the two main characters have so much in common but still seem unable to recognize it in each other because they think they are so broken, truth is they're just alike. Wanting and needing each other in more ways than one.
The supporting characters are also main supports to the story, each plays their part and they aren't over forced or pushed into the story for no reasons. Their roles are appropriate and needed to keep the action and adventure on a level where the reader is flying through the story without even realizing. The main "dark" character isn't ever overwhelming he's always lurking in the corner causing just enough commotion to keep the characters on their toes and the reader waiting in suspended anticipation.
The story is loaded with morals, learning to trust, accept, and not judging on first impressions. Not everything is life is all black and white, there's a whole spectrum for colors and emotions to feel and see. Don't think you're alone cause you're not.
I gave iFeel 5 out of 5 stars Marissa Carmel did a fabulous job writing this and I hope to read more from her soon.. -
Liv has spent her whole life in hiding, feeding herself with isolation and pills. She always thought that she was insane and did not like going out so much and seeing anyone. Her best friend and even her own hair stylist tried to get her out of the house. Everything changes when she finally agrees to go over to the most popular club in Jersey and gets in some trouble. One thing she didn't expect is to wake in her apartment with no memory (or her jeans on), staring into a hottie's eyes that knows all of her secrets...
This book has been incredible from the very beginning to the end. The characters, mystery, and adventures were perfectly described and if there was even a doubt that something needs to be changed, it would not have happened. I was so sad that this book has ended, it almost made me call the author herself and beg her to give me the other two books in this trilogy. Every single page was written with so much excitement, it made you feel like you were the part of the Supernatural world. -
This book is indeed a different kind of writing. I enjoyed the story very much. Extreme beings combust with contact. One that hides from all public life simply to keep from feeling every emotion from every one around her. Destined to spend her life in lock up inside her own apartment. The other one an angel sent to protect all that is good and to keep evil from harming this "feeler". Seraphs and empaths ignite and paint the town in flames in this story. Characters that will open your heart, can make you laugh, show anger in large amounts and also open your eyes on things we take for granted. Good read for sure. Loved the flow and design of details.
Great for all YA, Angels & Demons, and Fantasy fans alike. Will recommend to all. KUDOS AUTHOR Marissa Carmel.
Happy Reading

I love the paranormal genre and I especially love how Marissa has taken it in her own direction with iFeel. It's not your typical vampire romance or werewolf family. It takes paranormal in a whole new direction. Liv is an amazing character that you can't help but feel for the entire novel. It's almost eerie how much I can relate to this fictional character with supernatural powers. This novel held me captive from beginning to end and I can't wait for the next book in the series.
-
I cannot wait to read the rest of this series. This book is not like any books I have ever read. You will love this book, an will not be able to put it down.

Romancing the Dark Side:
A fun and romantic debut with a paranormal twist!
Liv Christianni is a young woman who's lived a somewhat lonely and isolated life due to her empathic abilities which she's always seen as a mental illness. When she crosses paths with a Spirit Stalker who's trying to steal her soul, Liv is rescued by the handsome Justice and learns she comes from a rare line of supernatural royalty which must be protected. With a Spirit Stalker hot on her trail, Liv must trust the brooding angel who's introduced her to a supernatural world she never thought was possible.
iFeel is a story about self-discovery and love. Liv's character is well developed, her inner struggle makes her easy to connect with on an emotional level. She's a young heroine at twenty-one, which usually isn't my cup of tea, but I think she handled herself maturely throughout the book's entirety, especially given the situation she's thrown into. Even with her "illness" she's pretty level headed, independent and exudes confidence. I'll blame some of her naivete on her age but overall I thought she has potential to grow into a strong heroine. She does come into her own by the book's end and I'm looking forward to see her discover more about her abilities as the series evolves.
The love interest, Justice, is a complex, tortured hero who reveals slivers of himself as the story progresses. He's been jaded by his immortality and life as a Spirit hunter but everything changed when he meets Liv. It was refreshing to see both characters who have deprived themselves of love fall for each other. My favorite moments are when they let the wall down and share intimate details about their lives to each other. I wouldn't label their romance insta-love but things came together a little too perfectly, I like a little challenge before the HEA.
The world building is something I wish Ms. Carmel would have given me more of. I found the Seraph and Spirit Stalker mythology intriguing but feel their history took a back seat to the developing romance between Justice and Liv. All of the supporting characters are charming and add a fun and flirty element to the story with their lively personalities. There are times where I felt I was in an episode of Gossip Girl with all the extravagance and wealth mentioned...and am still wondering what twenty one year old girl could afford Liv's fancy lifestyle?! The ending felt a bit rushed and I was left with a couple of unanswered questions that I hope the author answers in the upcoming installment.
iFeel is a wonderful start that merely scratches the surface of this intriguing paranormal world of immortals and magic. The plot is engaging and the characters are definitely entertaining. Ms. Carmel is a great storyteller who pulls you in with a sentimental romance and constant intrigue!

Alivyanna Christianni is one of those people with too much emotion and too little control. As she slides between one near-breakdown to the next, fate throws a new wrench into her otherwise isolated and lonely life. As though she needs a new problem. Liv is being hunted by a spirit walker, a big-old-nasty thing that enjoys sucking souls out of people for food and fun. After a terrifyingly near-death attack, she meets her savior and protector, Justinian, or Justice. As Justice tries to get Liv to realize who and what she really is, she fights her own battles on the inside, waging between love, hatred, disgust, and acceptance, leading up to an excellent stopping point for the next novel in the series.
The Good: The novel was quick and had little downtime, the scenes were well described and the world was both involved and believable. The characters are realistic, even if the story behind them is somewhat supernatural. I'll admit, I figured, for a while, that vampires would feature prominently into this story. But they don't, barely being a blip on the radar screen. I really liked the Seraphs, semi-angelic humans who are supernatural and have gifts, as well as the involvement of other types of supernaturals. Too often we focus on one type in a story, when mythology and history are full of many, many different types of supernatural entities.
The Bad: There are times when you go "what just happened?" and you go back to reread and it still doesn't make sense. The flow throws you out and you get confused. Also, some of the sayings the author uses are just... Here's a good example "It was like an A/B conversation she could C into." Liv's mind is sarcastic, but it's a tad bit overdone in this aspect. Oh, I admit I also didn't really like how some words were emphasized like THIS but in completely different font. Maybe I'm a finicky reader, but little things like that detract from a story's experience. Liv is never really the master of her emotions and lets them lead her around by the nose, but that's what happens when you are an Empath and that's your skill, so I can't fault her for it.
Overall: Good story, engaging. Definitely for the fans of supernatural books and shows. People Who enjoyed Vampire Diaries or Twilight will enjoy this book, but don't read it expecting vampires, and Liv at least has some capacity to think for herself when she isn't overwhelmed by emotions. -
It is about an earthly woman who is about to face her destiny and meet her soul-mate. Except this soul-mate is not a human, he is a supernatural creature, a cross between an angel and a devil. He was sent to her earthly realm to protect her against foes who are hunting for her, she too is not just human, she is an emipath. A very powerful one with a purple aura and is in serious trouble.
Before meeting the love of her life in a coffee shop she was afraid that she was suffering from a mental imbalance because her thoughts and other sensations did not fit in with the earthly realm and she isolated herself away from any stimulating activity. She was coming to accept this would be her life.
Yet one fateful day she met Justice and his friends and every thing turned upside down and she was thrust into the earthly and supernatural realm and found herself and her purpose, and a new family. This was not done without experiencing angst about her destiny, the fears of being stalked by a dark evil force and her heart introduction to the joy and deep abyss of being in love. A love that it hurts to breath unless the person is with you at all times. Justice just dissappears one night after harsh words for three months and her heart is shattering into pieces and she is dealing with the new knowledge of her supernatural birth and is left vulnerable to the dangers lurking in the darkness waiting to attack at any moment.
This author has written this for the YA crowd and there are delightful and zany comments that make the reader intrigue as to what the next action or event will be. They lived the life of young people, partying, eating and enjoying life but at the same time death is lurking at the door. This is a sweet sentimental emotional zany plot. A lot of suspense, mystery and action wrapped in the pages.
This book is available at Createspace and on Amazon.com. As a reviewer I highly recommend it because it is unique and pleasurably entertaining to read. As a reader it tugs at the heart as the author explores the human heart and soul from the highs to the lows of forever love and has charming mysterious Justice protecting her against all evil, it has endearing qualities of intimacy and breaking down the barriers of truth and the unknown discovering a powerful bond between a man and a woman that comes once in a lifetime.

This is unique and intriguing paranormal romance, about a couple with a connection so heated, it “burns” the pages It is a story about love, redemption, and second chances.
Liv is trapped, debilitated by what she believes to be a crippling mental illness. What she doesn’t realize is that she is actually a powerful empath, one of a long line of supernatural royalty thought to be extinct… until now. Enter the incredibly sexy Justice, who must protect her from the Spirit Stalker that threatens her life. Their chemistry is nearly immediate…
“His Caribbean blue eyes are acutely curious, glittery, and wondrous, and it feels like I am drowning in his gaze. He stares back at me, as if soaking up every inch. I can’t help but gawk. I’ve never seen anyone so divine.”
Justice is a hero any girl would fall for, and Liv included. He is beautiful, strong, sexy, and protective. But he is also damaged, haunted by a past he is reminded of every single day.
As Liv struggles with her new life and new identity, she slowly begins to gain control over her powers, and with that her life. With a satisfyingly slow build, Justice and Liv’s relationship deepens, tinged with intense longing and desire, often complicated and tumultuous, but ultimately warm satisfying. I couldn’t help but root for this couple with a very uncertain future, who offer each other a very real chance at healing and love.
Despite a few editing issues this is a solid first book in a series: it has an engaging paranormal aspect, an interesting cast of paranormal characters, and plenty of action and suspense. Though it has a defined ending, it is clear that there is much more to this story. I am eager to see where Justice and Liv’s relationship takes them, as well as the opportunity to delve deeper in to a supernatural world that we have only scratched the surface of.
"Forget denying love, I can never deny myself of him. From the moment I laid eyes on him, I was his. He consumes every part of me, and I surrender, knowing full well all I need is to simply love him, no matter what."
*I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for a fair and honest review. -
This book is like nothing I have ever read before. It brings you to a word filled with Spirit Stalkers, Seraphs and Vis Vires. It makes you feel like when you get the chills or think you see something out of the corner of your eye it may not just be nothing.
Marissa Carmel drew me into this book from the prologue. And the bit of suspense it holds grabbed my attention. I loved the way the characters were introduced and how they developed through the story. The prologue and the first chapter were amazingly written and were my favourites. After that the dialogue in the book seemed to be a bit forced and after reading the entire book I felt like some of the chapters were not needed.
The writing style in the entire book was exceptional, it kept me turning page after page. There were some grammatical errors and times when the writing would go from present to past tense.
The main characters
Alivyanna Christianni (Liv) is the main character. She is 21 and believes that she has crippling mental health issues. She has isolated herself from the world except her best friend Nikkee. She finds out shortly into the book that she is magical and does not suffer from mental illness. She can feel the emotions of those around her and is very rare and now being hunted by the Spirit Stalkers.
Justice- he is a Seraph and is HOT! His role is to protect Liv from the Spirit Stalkers who want to kill her.
The supporting characters in this book have small roles but they are charming and funny.
I never did find out where they all got their money in the book. I found the dropping of brand names and expensive clothing distracting and unnecessary. Almost as though I was in an episode of 90210 or Gossip Girl.
All in all the story keep me interested and was very different from the books I have read. For those of you looking for a steamy sex filled book, this is not for you. It does have a cute love story as they main characters try to deny their feelings for each other.
When I read paranormal books they are generally like Twilight so I try to stay away from them but this was nothing like the Twilight series.
I give this book 3 stars. It's a nice quick read for a weekend afternoon. -
Honestly, the writing is five-star. I love the suspenseful way Ms Carmel has managed to draw me in with. The prologue and the first chapter were amazing, but then it started to go downhill. The dialogue seemed forced and the plot seemed to be going on forever. I liked the ending; it was adorable, but it doesn't really suit the dark-ish theme of the book. But then again, who WOULDN'T want to be Liv when all those wonderful things are said to her? (I'm not going to reveal the name of the person she ends up with; it'll just spoil most of the book.)
There are some points which I didn't like:
- The grammar was terrible around the dialogue. When somebody "asks" something, their pronoun has to be like "he/she." For more information on what I mean, just check out this article:
http://justremy.blogspot.com/2010/10/rem...
- I don't like the main character's name. It's too wacky, and I'm just one of those people who prefer simplistic names which are spelt the way they usually should be.
- Some of the writing was awkward. There were sentences which could've been written better.
- There are abbreviations like "OMG" which should be banned from being in books. If you absolutely REQUIRE it, then write "Oh em gee," because I swear, it looks so much better.
But somehow, the writing style made it up for it. I loved, loved, loved the writing style of the author. And despite having negative things to say, I think the writing style was terrific. Absolutely wonderful.
So while this isn't exactly my cup of tea when it comes to paranormal, I recommend it to anybody who doesn't get picky with grammar.
Mind you, if the author rewrites most of the book, I'm willing to give it five stars -she lost a star for the grammar and another star for losing my interest after the five five chapters. But it's something a little bit of editing can fix. :)

★iFeel by Marissa Carmel (Vis Vires Trilogy # 1)
I won this book through a LibraryThing Members Giveaway in exchange for my honest review.
Huh?
What is this author talking about?
*deep end of the Caribbean- Defiantly the deep end, surely not the shallow end of the sea.
*Eunique grunts as he parts my hair.-If your hairstylists grunts at you, you might want to find a new one.
*Justice grunts disgusted-There's a lot of grunting going on here.
*he drifts comonlly to the front door-Really? He drifts how? Commonly
*Apostrophes everywhere they don't need to be, but never where they should be.
*I hanker for composure; barely withstanding the sensations that take to long to to settle.
*Retreiving my pointe shoes-50% wrong vs. 50% right, nice.
*You can't just put any two words together, and it be a real compound word.
I really don't know what happened here. Did I get a bad copy?
Maybe this is a horrible translation of a book by an ESL author. The are random Spanish words, sprinkled sporadically throughout the book.
I don't know how I got through this book. Well okay, yes I do. I had to skim read most of it. I really hope this is not the version that is being sold. If it is, you might just want to save your money.

This book was gifted to me by the author for an honest review. Thank You!
Alivyanna, “Liv” has purple eyes and is an empath. She witnesses a death and is told by her friend that there have been a lot of unexplainable deaths of girls. She tries to stay inside and away from people so as to keep her sanity. But friends from the salon where she is getting her hair done, insist she go out on her 21st birthday. Liv meets Justice who saves her from a Spirit Stalker. Justice tries to convince Liv that she is supernatural but she doesn't take it well. “Pixies, vampires and suffering Seraphs, I’m having close encounters of all kinds.”
This is a fast paced well written book. This book was so good that I didn't want to stop reading it. Typically I read two books at a time and if I get bored of the first book, I will read the second one. Also, I sometimes will read for awhile then get bored and get on Facebook but this book was so good that I didn't want the world to distract me from it.
Justice and Liv have some romantic moments. “From the moment I laid eyes on him, I was his.” “Here, I open my heart to him, and now it feels like I fell in love with a Monet, beautiful from afar, a scattered mess up close.”
The writing is so romantic and emotional, I was really loving it. I really didn't want it to end, I was liking it so much. The end was so exciting, I was seriously entranced. Can't wait to read the next book. -
I have been working with Marissa on and off for a while now, through tours and such, however working with her directly I knew it was about time I read her book. Yes I am kicking myself for missing out on this gem for such a long time.
iLove iFeel. The way Marissa pulled me right in from day one exploring the fact that Liv feels she has a mental disorder and doesn’t know her true identity is a brilliant way to start this New Adult Paranormal romance. I loved the development of Liv right through to the very end with some very interesting twists and turns and explosive page turning moments.
Justice… Well I have my own idea of my perfect Justice as I am sure a lot of people would do when they read iFeel. His strength, love and character pulled me immediately to him. I also loved his family from the moment they were introduced. The perfect cast of characters in 1 book. Honestly who can ask for more? Well ok I can ask for more and luckily more will be in the shape of book 2 Gravitational Pull, hopefully out soon. Come on Marissa you can’t possibly leave me hanging like this!!
I would recommend iFeel to EVERYONE! If you love paranormal romances or not this book will have you captivate from page 1.
I give iFeel a well-deserved 5/5 -
My cover didn't look like this mine had typewritten emotions all over the cover which related well to the story, but I like the cover with the female on it better. I started the book and literally couldn't put it down.It was well written, yes it had a few mistakes but those things don't bother me as long as I can still get the gist of it and as for grammar-well I am bad at it all-so those weren't problematic for me at all.I don't really know how to do these reviews that strike a balance of being informative yet not giving it all away-so I won't. Interesting characters, heartfelt emotions and an interesting concept kept me turning the pages. I also enjoyed humor written in here too. Liv is a woman who has been hiding away from people most of her life because she "takes on" other peoples emotions. She just thought she was crazy -and was awaiting her inevitable lock-up in the mental ward. Justinian comes along and not only helps her but makes her realize that she indeed isn't "crazy".I enjoyed it thoroughly and look forward to the next one!Thank you Ms. Carmel and Goodreads for the book and introducing me to a writer whose books I will be enjoying for years to come.

****EROTICA BOOK CLUB REVIEW****
iFEEL (The Vis Vires Trilogy)
By Marissa Carmel
Alivyanna Chhristianni (Liv) has always felt like and outcast and would isolate herself from everyone. She meets Justice in a club when he saves her life and she discovers that she is in fact an empath which means she can read peoples emotions. Empaths are rare so Justice protects her, they also have an connection but they can't physically be together.
I loved this story it pulled me in right from the start with great characters. I also loved that Liv developed through the story and kind of found herself with the help of mostly Justice.
Justice is hot and I found myself linking more and more throughout the story.
Not much sex in this one but knowing that Liv and Justice want too and can't, adds to the story and I loved it regardless.
I would recommend iFeel to anyone that loves paranormal romance.
I am now eager to start on book 2 Gravitational Pull.
I received a copy from the author for an honest review.
I giving it a 5 star for Amazon and 4 star for goodreads.

iFeel
Vis Vires Trilogy #1
This book was addictive, I really didn’t want to put it down and read it on and off throughout a day until I finished it. Liv feels like she’s going mad, and has spent her life taking countless pills and seeing psychiatrists. Being able to feel everyone’s emotions is too much, and she has shut herself away in order to survive. When Justice catches her one day when she is overcome, her life takes a turn and will never be the same.
Incredibly well written and very descriptive, this book had me gripped from the very start. The characters are lovable, and develop significantly as the story continues. I was transported into their world, and never wanted to leave.
I eagerly wait more from this author, I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.

I have to say that this book is definitely one of my favorites. The cover is absolutely beautiful!!! It's what first drew me in. I absolutely love the author's writing style. The story line was creative and intriguing and had me sucked in from the beginning to end. I love the way the author depicts the different supernaturals. It's different from the norm of books you see out there right now. The characters were very descriptive and well-developed. Once I got started on this book it was hard to stop. The story is unique and flows easily making it very easy to read and understand. I would have to say I am very impressed with this author. I look forward to reading more of Liv and Justice in the future and any other books this author writes. Marissa Carmel has made me a complete fan of her work.
-
I enjoyed this book, but I'm giving it 4 stars because it had such a massive amount of grammatical and spelling errors sometimes it was difficult to pay attention to the story. Normally I'm not a fan of series books because I hate waiting for the next one to come out once I've finished one; but this book ended nicely enough for me not to be antsy for the next book, but on the flip side I'm not sure if I'm terribly interested in reading another one if it's going to have as many errors as this one did-too I'm content with where the characters were left at the end. It wasn't a bad book and it might be good for people who have phobias to read but I'm not sure I'd recommend it to anybody.

Liv is bombarded daily with the emotions of everyone around her. She thinks she is crazy and has isolated herself from the outside world, except from her BFF Nikee. Soon, she finds out she's not crazy, but magical and that she is being hunted by an extreme evil being.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters are easy to like. There are magical beings of all kinds in this book. Some of which, I'm not sure what they are. This book will keep you turning the pages. And it ends with a great cliff hanger. It has some great suspense, some romance and lots of intrigue. I can't wait to see what is coming next! -
It's a good thing that the story is so good and that you get sucked in quickly otherwise I would have never finished this ebook. This could have been a 5 star book if it weren't for the spelling errors and ebook set up, the two combined make this book atrocious to try and read. Reading the ebook version is like reading a really long poem, every paragraph is only 3 lines long and most of them split in middle of sentences. Every word that should have a double L in it is missing the second L as well as many, many other spelling errors.
It's an excellent story but you need to fix the errors and the ebook set up. -
I really enjoyed iFeel. Some parts of it were a little confusing, and I would have liked to have been able to picture what the Stalker looked like better. This being said, I gave the book five stars, because the plot was creative, and there were many times when she used her words so beautifully to describe pain that I was very impressed. I look forward to seeing what else Marissa Carmel can come up with in the rest of the trilogy. I connected with the characters which I always like to do, and the book was all about feeling as made evident from the title, and I felt that she did it justice.

I just received this book from GMTA publishing.I am a fan of paranormal fantasy I love to read to get myself out of the real world. I didn't know what the story was about and haven't ever read a book by the author Marissa Carmel. Let me say, this book was like one of those suspense movies that you had to keep your attention on or you would miss something very important. This book was very well written in my opinion, it gave both enough and just enough details to keep you reading. I couldn't put it down I wanted more. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

I don't know how to describe this book, the beginning made you not want to stop reading, but then after awhile, nothing really happens. I thought there could have been a bit more action with the powers they had, but the whole book was just mainly about the romance between Justinian and Liv. The end at least had some action to it =]. I definitely enjoyed reading this though. Although, this book would have been better with some more editing =P

What I enjoyed most about this book is the emotional connection that you are able to have with the characters towards the beginning of the book. I loved the deep arising romance within iFeel and the suspense. I always felt that I had to keep on reading the book, I could never put iFeel down which is what I love about books. Not being able to put the book down means that they are truely excellent and a must-read. I would highly recommend iFeel.

Absolutely Loved it! I could not put this book down.. It was great that it had different elements to it. I loved how troubled Liv was and that Jus helped her come back. She was scared to feel and to love but Jus brings her back to life in a sense. The other characters are great too and she ends up with a family and life she never knew she wanted. I can not wait to see where this story goes and unfolds with Liv, Jus, and everybody else!!
