The Recluse Duke and the Socialite Reviews

  • Dolores

First and foremost, this book had adorable characters that I liked. Beyond that, this was an OK story. The plot was inconsistent with moments of good story flow and then moments of confusion. There seemed to be holes throughout the plot that left me thinking that this was a piece of swiss cheese. If it were not for the characters, this book would have been a moldy sandwich. I can only hope that the next book I read by Emma Linfield is one of redemption.

The Recluse Duke and the Socialite

The characters were appealing and also intelligent. The plot proved it could also entertain. It was just one very enjoyable story. Read this. Could have been condensed by less appearing thoughts.

    Okay

It seems it was very slow in the beginning. Did not expect this from this author. It was good after the middle of book.
