A Tale of Foreverland Reviews

My Sunday School teacher brought this book to me and said, "See what you think of this one." It's a short story that is the author's fictionalization of what heaven might be like. I can't say I agree with her take on life after death there but it painted a sweet picture of one person's imaginings. However, it failed to live up to what is printed on the back of the dust cover, which says (in part): "Here is a story that will bring both joy and tears to old and young. It is an imaginative tale of hope that tells us there is more to life than life. Readers will find in these pages both a healing for our griefs and a heart-filling anticipation of the good that awaits us." I don't think so.

A pleasant take on heaven aimed at kids, yet not feeling quite like a kids' book either. I read somewhere else recently about seeing death as passage through another birth canal, which this presents. I agree with the other reviewer that it doesn't live up to the hype on the back cover.
