  A cycle of betrayal and fighting... it does add some to the story at least and makes sense in the over all arc. Lots of fan service as usual, and plenty of blood. This could be a stand alone, but is better read where it belongs, which is noted in the Grimm Fairy Tales series.

  Just continuation of the Grimm saga ... really wasn't required that the five parts be printed separately from the original story. But the more the merrier.
  
  I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to bit, may comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just

  Enter..baba yaga, goblin queen, limbo mistress, qeen of spades, venus, and jack. The goblin queen has unleashed these monsters on nyc including the prison sela was at. Sela runs ito Nathan Cross,,looks like hook from neverland, they then are fighting those flesh reavers when Samantha comes and takes them to the inner nexus sactum. Since Sela has the power of all four realms she is the only one who can call on the mandersoon the only predator of the flesh reavers.
  At Mt Fuji the flesh peeps kill sam. sela red and nathan enter to find ming alive with the madersoon egg. sela awakens it and it is super cute and attaches to red. Sam is not dead but was shipped to wonderland. Nathand Sela realize the crown sela helped get for the goblin queen is allowing her to manipulate people. They use it as a tracking device.
  The spade queen and goblin queen drained sam of her powers. Venus kills the goblin queen and that is basically how it ends. with the goblin queen dead the flesh reavers in turn are nothing and the rest of the bad girls fly away.

  I re-read this story after like five years, so I redid my review. After reading a lot of graphic novels from the Zenescope company over the past two years I have a better appreciation for this story. The different characters in the Grimm Universe can have complex interweaving story lines and history. However, it is not necessary to be familiar with the characters past to enjoy this book, but it would help.
  
  I liked that Sela was drawn as a full figured character with big boobs in the first chapter. It was refreshing to see this take on her, however the second chapter and beyond was her typical skinny body with big boobs. I like that look too, but since Zenescope has some of the most gorgeous female art in modern comic books, especially the covers, and it would be nice to see their versions of the pretty average girl next door look.
  
  The overall story is nothing special; it is a quick and entertaining read. Recommend for Grimm Universe fans and people looking for a fun action story.

  Nice colors, nice dialogues but the storyline was blegh. It could be a lot better.
