Small-town store owner Brianna Lawrence enjoys a carefree ménage relationship with rancher Chet Macalister and veterinarian Dr. Randall Clark. They’ve kept their unbridled passion secret, meeting infrequently to keep gossips from finding out.
When they invite her to perform ménage sex onstage for the Double Rider Men’s Club, she balks due to her beauty inadequacy. The idea of getting onstage with the two men she loves is a sexy idea, but Brianna fears they could do better.
Enduring endless beauty pageants as a teen only garnered her fourth place. She doesn’t need more Miss Congeniality awards. She should just let them go.
Chet and Randall want to marry her, but they’ve kept permanence out of their conversations so she won’t run. When this relationship started, their sexual trysts were only meant for fun, not forever.
Will choosing the DRMC mean losing the only woman they’ve ever loved?

Not that impressive. I mean, I wasn't reading it for the literary value but the sex scenes were boring. I will still give at least the next book in this series a try, though. These prequel novellas are rarely good anyway.

Menage romance.

Unbridled and unforbidden
Loved the characters and the storyline and couldn't put it down so it's a well deserved five stars and I would recommend this book to everyone -
I really enjoyed this series. I wasn't sure at first but very fast it hooked me and I couldn't put it down or get enough. I loved each story and wished they were longer. Great series.

Got this as part of my Bookstrand bundle, and it was a good read. For a short story, a lot happened, but it really focused on Brianna and her feelings, and her dismay and worry was palpable in the story. Okay, so I don't get the whole you have to get on stage, especially considering the other men didn't have women, so that was weird, but I liked the story overall. I may have to jump ahead to #12 to read Clay's story, he seemed really intriguing!!

3.5 stars. I have read a few of the DRMC books, and I'm glad this prequel was written. It provided some welcome information into the background and founding of the club, as well as filling in some gaps on characters from the series, like Clay. I also thought the "gesture" at the end was very sweet and it totally made me cry a little.

Not rating this because my reason for not enjoying it has to do with the particular kink content, not the quality of the story and writing. Those who would enjoy reading m-f-m ménage romance with stage-performance exhibitionism may enjoy this series.
