Enjoyed it, just 1 main problem..

I really did enjoy this book; I like the exercise style she used and some things she speaks of feeling or of having done hit me so hard because for a lot of them I thought I was alone and had no idea it could be my BPD. That was a blessing and I thank her for sharing what she did as it is nice knowing I'm not alone.
My only real complaint is while the exercises were DBT related, as a Borderline I understood logically but as most BPD know itnwas the emotional comprehension I failed to achieve. Perhaps because she has her BPD in control more so now she has forgotten how hard understanding certain aspects of "normal" life can be for us.H ad more time been spent in each chapter explaining each exercise and DBT skill, written in a manner borderline emotional logic could comprehend I would have probably gained some useful tips and ideas regarding coping. Still i enjoyed the read and there were a handful of good chapters with good distraction ideas. I hope one day she will perhaps write a book directed towards those of us who still struggle immensely with emotional comprehension.

Debbie has done it again! She has done an amazing job of gathering together in one place several DBT skills and made them into an impressive challenge. If you follow this 31-day challenge, it will change your life. Thanks for doing such a wonderful job with this book. I highly recommend it to anyone suffering from BPD, or in recovery and wanting to continue to practice the skills.
