    Eddie is a bar owner who hires Summer even though she has no experience. His step sister, Heather, is a snooty bitch who can't keep her nose out of his business.

    Heather comes to Eddie's bar to remind him of his obligation to appear at the charity masquerade ball and to bring a date...he does have one, doesn't he? Eddie lies and tells Heather that Summer is his girlfriend and that they would like nothing more than to attend the ball. Summer and Eddie continue the lie by convincingly performing a passionate kiss in front of Heather.

    They attend the ball and the heat between them is turned up, for Heather's sake - or theirs?

    Entertaining, but short erotic romance between Summer, a recently fired saleswoman turned barmaid, and Eddie, her sexy boss. I really liked the narrative voice of Summer, but wish that I had gotten to know more about Eddie. The sex was hot without being raunchy. I really liked where the plot was going, but it felt a little rushed at the end. I wanted more!
