TWO COMPLETE STORIES IN ONE BOOK!

AN AMISH CHRISTMAS WISH:
Grace Fisher left the Amish community just after her baptism, frightened she'd missed out on exploring the English ways when her father had forbidden her to participate in her rumspringa.
When she returns to the community just days before Christmas, her father turns her away.
After running her car off the road in a blizzard, Grace ends up at the mercy of Ethan Bontrager, the man whose proposal she'd refused before leaving the community. Will the two of them be able to put the past behind them while trapped together in a blizzard?

THE CHRISTMAS PRAYER:
The day before school lets out for the holiday season, students are asked to submit a confidential and unselfish prayer to their teacher as an end-of-the-year assignment. When two of the students realize they share a common prayer, they join forces to make certain those prayers are answered. Will their shenanigans bring two broken families together, or will their efforts be in vain?

An Amish Christmas Wish / The Christmas Prayer Reviews

  • Monica Willyard Moen

I like the premise of this book, and I like the characters. However, it needs more length to flush out some of the plot points to make the storyline make sense. There are several fairly major things that are either not explain or remain unresolved, though the ending acts as if they have been resolved.

    Love finds a way.

I choose this rating.because two children didn't like seeing their so unhappy.both had lost their spouses.so the children work up a plan to get their parents together.

    An Amish christmas wish review.

the story was short, but sweet.
I liked it. im wondering if there will be a sequel to this short story?

  • Kathleen Fitting

    Two romance stories.

The stories were very well written. Each story, was a true romance which ended in an Amish wedding with a family attached to it

    Great stories..............

I was ready for a Christmas story and the author was kind enough to offer two of them. The story of the woman who found herself pregnant and alone in a snow storm was a very touching story. The second story of two children , one without a father and the other without a mother was a very dramatic story from start to finish.

Two Amish romance short stories with a Christmas wish theme. This turned out to be exactly the kind of Amish romance I was expecting - saccharine and eye-rollingly sanctimonious. To be fair, I was expecting worse. The pacing for the first one was god-awful slow. For someone who likes their romances pious and gentle and god-centered, this is perfect. Definitely NOT my cup of tea. Glad it was a quick, easy read short enough to satisfy a challenge.

Sweet story of faith and love.
    A good Christmas story.

A nice, simple amish novel. Didn't care too much for the short story included in the book.

An Amish Christmas wish is a stand alone book written by Samantha Jillian Bayar in her Amish Romance series. This story has two wonderful characters who have both prayed a Christmas wish that brought them back together.

This story shows us how praying and keeping the faith can make even the worst circumstances seem trivial. We learn how love, not just for each other, but God first can make miracles come true. The fact that thi story takes place around Christmas makes it even more miraculous.

I loved both the characters but Ethan reminds me that chivalry can still be alive and well. Ethan went above all that he needed to when caring for Grace but that's because his live for her has never wavered. These two characters are very likeable and realistic.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this amazing book to read and review. I was not approached to post a favorable review. All opinions and statements are strictly my own. I have rated this book with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that i can highly recommend to all those who love the Amish genre.

Congratulations to Samantha Jillian Bayarr for writing another fantastic book for her readers to enjoy. I will be anticipating more wonderful books from her in the future.
