Visions of Wonder: An Anthology of Christian Fantasy Reviews
-
The two editors gathered tales of demons, angels, and religious lore. There are 15 stories by George MacDonald, Oscar Wilde, Kenneth Morris, Charles Williams, John Aurelio, et al. Although called "Christian Fantasy," it actually includes anything of a religious slant that caught the editors' fancy. Some of the stories did not catch mine. A literature class in a Christian college might appreciate these more than I did.

I most enjoyed the last few stories, but the rest were too dated for my liking. I realized that I must prefer “modern” fantasy more than the older types (though I do enjoy Lewis and Tolkien).
