Benny is not digging up the car park of the Gigamarket for nothing. Oh no. There's no way that she was there for any other reason than to investigate the famed Latrines of Baladroon. Shoes? She was there to buy shoes? Get outta here!

Monsters? Nah! What would they want with the Greatest Shop in the Galaxy? I mean, come on -- what would monsters like the Borvali want to buy?

Time Anomalies? You need the science fiction section of the book department if you want Time Anomalies, mate.

Everything here is under control. Honest...

Professor Bernice Summerfield and the Greatest Shop in the Galaxy (Bernice Summerfield #12) Reviews

  • April Mccaffrey

Bernice Summerfield and the greatest shop in the galaxy should be renamed as; Bernice Summerfield and ‘the time she kept slapping men whose egos went too far up their own ass. xD

An enjoyable funny, audio. It was nice to hear David Benson play somebody other than Panda in big finish too!

Poor Benny, hope she gets some proper shoes one day!

How to defuse a bomb by Bernice Summerfield: Hit it repeatedly with your shoes until it can’t take it anymore.

This was a fun and strange story. A shopping mall that's in a time paradox and monsters/creatures popping up creating chaos.

I love Bernice Summerfield. Fantastic character. She was introduced in the Virgin New Adventures and she's strong enough as a character to get her own range and content without The Doctor.

Some of her single releases remind of the Virgin New Adventures and that's what I like about them. I have a few. Only listened to two of them but I enjoyed them more than I originally expected.

I am not very familiar with "Paul Ebbs" but I would be happy to experience more of his work. He did "The Book of the Still" in the Doctor Who EDA Range that I will look forward to when I get to it.

    8/10.

  • Charles Mitchell

IMHO the most fun adventure to this point.

  • Sara Habein

This one had its funny moments, but I look forward to hearing one of these older audios that isn't loosely centered around "men being weird around Benny."

  • Nicholas Whyte

I really liked The Greatest Shop In The Galaxy. Perhaps it helped that, by total coincidence, I was wandering around a supermarket myself while listening to it, but I felt the balance of humour and drama, of life-threatening horrors and time paradoxes while at the same time not taking itself too seriously, worked really well. Tremendous fun.

  • Debra Cook

Very strange story. A huge shopping spree turns into a time paradox. That's all I can get out of this. Judge for yourself if its good.

  • Anne Barwell

A nice mix of drama and crack, with some laugh out loud moments against the drama. Very enjoyable :)
