Manual of Indulgences Reviews
-
To all those Catholics (or not) stuck in the mindset of the abuses prevalent in Luther's time, this book (the official teaching released by Vatican II) explains the current understanding of indulgences, and shows how the church uses indulgences to encourage the faithful in ways which lead them closer to God and to their neighbor. There are four "general" indulgences, which include one "to the faithful who, led by the spirit of faith, give compassionately of themselves or of their goods to serve their brothers in need"

Excellent
This is an excellent resource for Catholics. The treasury of heaven is certainly overflowing with graces. I heartily recommend this book. -
It's no Raccolta, but it's canonically valid.
