Letting Go (Mitchell Family, #1) Reviews

  • Aestas Book Blog

Ok, I'll be honest here, the ONLY reason I finished this book was that I wanted to be able to rate it fairly but by 25% I was already thinking of stopping and by 50%, I pretty much just wanted to smash my kindle against the wall :S

    Siiigh.. ok. Where to start?

k, its easier if I refer to characters by name so the heroine is Savanna, the shithead boyfriend is Ty, and the hero is Colt (who is also Ty's cousin).

The set up of the story is that Ty and Savanna have been together since they were 14. When they go to college, she wants to be focused on her education and he wants to be focused on parties. That causes tension. She breaks up with him because she 'just can't deal with a relationship' at the time as well as school. But *holds up one finger* she "never" intended it to be permanent... she just wanted to *squints skeptically* break up without really breaking up or something like that. *shakes head* Whatever. Ok. Another thing you should know is that Ty has been sleeping around behind her back for years with pretty much everything with breasts. Anyway, after begging her to take him back with no luck Ty goes back to partying until one day, Savanna walks in on with with his pants down with some girl and is so upset that she leaves the party. He's drunk and steals a car to follow her and ends up with his car in a ditch and in a coma...

Six months later, he's still in a coma and everyone pretty much resents Savanna and blames her for the accident. She spends every day at the hospital with him waiting for him to wake up. Until one day his hot cousin, Colt, walks in. He's there to stay for the summer and help on Ty's family farm.... one thing leads to another and they end up together. But.. she's having trouble letting go of Ty.

This book was full of things that just made me want to tear my hair out... I'll just list a few of them as examples:

-Savanna was a seriously annoying heroine. She was either incredibly dense or just a pushover because once we learn some of the dick things that Ty did to her while they were together, I have no way of sympethizing with why she didn't dump him ages ago.

-Ty's family was just HORRID to Savanna. Seriously, it was like their son walked on water or something... and she never once stood up to them but just took whatever they dished out.

-While Ty was sleeping around behind her back, pretty much everone except Savanna knew, including her best friend who NEVER TOLD HER. Wtf??

-Ty was just a SERIOUS jerk. I'm not sure I even WANT to see him redeemed in the next book. First of all, he was a serial liar and cheater but was also just a huge dick. Like seriously, he ACTUALLY had the nerve to tell her that his dick made the decisions but his heart had always belonged to her. WTF??!! O_o

-And then the last 50% with all the stuff with Ty and Colt.... gah!!! Serious kindle-throwing frustration.

-Also, this is just personal preference but I'm usually really not into love triangle books unless there is very little back-and-forth and once the main couple is together, that's that. And this book had a lot of wavering.
And just some weird stuff that didn't make sense like:
-she gets her face all cut up in a fight and needs stitches and the next day Colt and her have a mudfight getting mud all over her face. Again, WTF?

Honestly, the writing was stilted and the dialogue was cheesy. I found the beginning very rushed and never really felt that I was able to properly connect to any of the characters.

Yes, the hero was swoony. But in a too-perfect way. I don't know. He was though, by FAR the best thing about this book. He's the reason I didn't give it a 1-star rating...

This book had a lot of angst and some steam but I honestly just feel like I wasted my afternoon.

    Le sigh.

Book 2 is Ty's story but I don't think I'll be going on to it. A hero who is willing to lie and cheat on his girlfriend for years and in a fit of rage wraps his hands around her throat and pushes her against the wall yelling "You bitch!" is just not someone I'm interested in reading a whole book about.

Ok. Moving on. I need something awesome next!!

  • A. Bookzilla.

I got just beyond halfway through this and then I gave up and just read the last chapter and kind of skimmed over the rest.

It was badly written, and the characters were ridiculous.
I thought the story was good, and I really wanted to get into it because I liked the premise, but the writing just put me off. All these never ending sentences, and unnatural dialogue, I was cringing the whole time.

Van was pathetic and immature. She kept whining about everything and making herself out to be a martyr and a victim all the time. And she giggled during the one sex scene I read. I just couldn't get over it.

Colt. UGH. Major dislike. His character was all over the place, hot and cold all the time. First he's a player that thinks about hooking up with Sabrina, and then he gets offended and defensive when Van calls him out on it. And then he was constantly saying one thing and doing another. And the worst part is that he kept Tyler's cheating a secret. Just, NO.

Tyler was a jackass. Also, guys like that should not giggle. It's not cute. It takes a hell of a male character to be able to get away with giggling. He was not it.

I keep wondering if I maybe read something different than the rest of people, but I doubt it.

I feel so bad about this review.
The whole thing just needed a lot more work. And an editor. ASAP.

Thank you, Jennifer Foor for an amazing ride in the country,4.5 Stars Sugar!

I’ve seen how she looks at you. Even when you aren’t looking, she is. That girl has it bad. Never in all the years we were together, did I ever get that look.”

Letting Go is a love triangle which had me frantically turning the pages. This story has it all love, heartache, lies, kindness, cruelty, forgiveness and one hot cousin named…Colt Mitchell.

  • Lindsay

I had high hopes for this book. The story line sounded decent and it’s subject was similar to past books I’ve read and enjoyed. Unfortunately, it fell short for me.

My first issue was with the dialog. I’m not normally picky but the dialog felt cheesy, forced and formal. One pet peeve of mine is overly formal dialog for contemporary books. People speak in contractions…that’s just the way it is. I know that’s a blanket statement and it’s not true for everyone, but for most people, they use contractions. Unfortunately, the characters had never met a contraction in their lives. I don’t normally complain about these things, but in this case, the lack of “typical” speaking dialog jarred me out of the story.

Another issue…the overly exaggerated southern “accent”. Instead of making me feel like the book was set in the south, the characters came off like country hicks. And I know that wasn’t the intention.

One more issue…consistency. When the book started, Colt was 23. With just a few weeks passing, he was approaching his 25th birthday. Now, it wouldn’t be an issue if the book had said over a year had passed but it didn’t. Savannah and Colt spent a month together. Then a few weeks apart. And yet, he aged close to 2 years in that time.

Another consistency error…Ty, a guy recently out of the hospital, and out of a coma, could barely stand one day without help from crutches and the next day he’s jumping fences to go after a girl.

Even with my complaints, this book wasn’t horrible. I did like the basic story; but, it could have been so much better. It had the potential to be better. Unfortunately, it wasn’t that way for me.

  • Rachel

I am gonna try to be as nice as I can about this review but still have to be honest. I have never read a book where I pretty much disliked all of the characters, especially the main one. Van was one of the most pathetic, cry baby, immature, and ridiculous characters to me. She always played the victim but never did one single thing to change it, in fact to me she encouraged it. She never said anything to all the people who were awful to her and at one point I remember cringing because she let Ty's mom treat her terrible and then said something to the effect that she just wanted her to like her. Ty's mom was an absolute nightmare. Then there's Ty who is obnoxious when he wakes up, then in the end the author tries to make him likeable- no way! On top of that Brina was a complete bitch and if she was made to be that way why in the world was she letting people treat Van like crap and where was Van's mom in all this??? She comes in towards the end trying to be this supportive mother- come on. Things just did not add up. No one treats another person like they did Van when Ty was the drunk who wrecked the car and cheated on her, no one dates someone for 5 years and then the person they were with is quickly ok with his cousin being with that girl. Its all kind of asinine. Colt was ok but again it all was silly and not belivable. The story in itself had potential but the characters broke it.

  • Ellelou

This book is definitely one I would be happy with Letting Go and soon forget!

There are so many issues I've had with it, but because I consider reading this book a waste of my time I am NOT going to spend anymore on a review.

  • Duchess Crystal

    *Warning!* *Warning!*
Make sure you have your ac set low b/c this book will have you all hot and bothered.

    Wow! Wow! Wow!

Where can I find a Colt Mitchell? Seriously. He is one hot cowboy. He can call me Darlin all damn day long *sighs*

Savannah breaks up with her boyfriend Ty Mitchell (who is a dueche bag by the way) b/c she needs to focus on her school and not on partying, which is the only thing that Ty is really interested in. Even though she broke up with him she is still in love with him and just needed some time to get things figured out. She catches him in the act during a frat party and takes off. After drinking all night Ty follows her and gets into a car accident which leaves him in a coma for several months.

Everyone turns their back on Savannah, blaming her for the accident. Feeling guilty and being shunned by loved one and friends, she finds herself in a very dark place.

Colt Mitchell is Ty's cousin and he comes to town to help out his uncle on the farm. When an incident happens at a bonfire, Colt takes care of Savannah and wants her to stay with him at the guest house on the farm. She agrees and shortly after that, things get very steamy and hot!

Best scene is Colt leaning up against the door frame wearing only a damn cowboy hat. Fuck me sideways that is HOT!!! I know what I want for Christmas this year. Now where to find a hot sexy cowboy???

Colt is a Cowboy Sex God!! *on my knees praising his fine ass and his huge manly cock*

Things really get interesting and even more hotter when Ty finally wakes up from his coma. I don't want to continue after this point b/c you simply must read this fabulous book to find out what happens next.

You will not be dissappointed. I promise!

I will leave off on this: Be prepared to have a tissue or two at hand towards the end. Just saying is all.

    Happy Reading :)

I really hate leaving bad reviws and i did really want to like this but i couldn't get past the dialog it was so formal and awkward.I would of liked this more if the dialog was less stiff.

  • Vikki ~ *squee* lite ~

I wanted to like this book - the premise was interesting and original - it seemed right up my alley. That said - I just couldn't like the heroine - at all. Colt was a great hero - although I didn't love that he had been covering for his jerk of a cousin for years. My biggest issue was Ty - he was easy to hate - but he seemed - somewhat bi-polar. He's ok with everything - then he's not - then he is - then he's slamming her up against a wall - then he's her new BFF.

    HOLY CAKEBALLS BATMAN

Talk about starting off strong and with a BANG!

I was hooked from the first chapter which is in Tyler’s POV
And I actually felt so sorry for him from Savanna’s POV.

About why she broke up with him, when he thought there was someone else, there never was.

Then we get more into the story and I HATED what everyone was doing to Van.
It’s not her fault Ty was in a car crash.
Or that he is in a coma.
He chose to get in that car.
    He chose to drive drunk.

Then Colt Mitchell turns up to see his cousin.

Van has only even been about Ty.
They were going to get married
Have children and grow old together.
She’s all he has even known.

Now there’s a chance he may not wake up.

After a fight at a bonfire where Ty’s friends beat Van up, Colt comes to the rescue and takes care of her.
Bringing her back to the farm.

They resist each other for about 24 hrs then begins a whirlwind romance.
They can’t get enough of each other and Van has never been happier in her life…

    But then Tyler wakes up…

Van is torn between the one she has always known and the one she wants…

Secrets are spilled, hearts are broken, lies are told…

Who comes out the victor and how?

Review to come once the book is released!!!!!!

I read this book as an ARC read.

Okay so what can I say.....I LOVED this book. I am usually not a fan of love triangles but for some reason this book just worked, maybe because Ty was in a coma. This book had me smiling, crying, and fuming. I absolutely adored all the characters, Savanna, Colton and even Ty.

Colton was so sweet and sexy how could you not fall for him. I don't want to say to much and give anything away, so I will just say go out and get this book so you can find out how it turns out. Does Savanna choose her high school sweetheart of 5 years Ty or does she choose his sexy southern cousin Colton.

This book was one of my favorites by Jennifer Foor and will definitely go on my favorites shelf at home. This is one I will read time and again.

    A MUST READ!!!!!

  • Loz

this book is just.. bad. i'm sorry but it's poorly written, the characters are utterly ridiculous and by 40% in, i just wanted to throw my kindle at a wall. honestly i skimmed over the rest just to see what happens and to see if certain characters became more mature and grew a pair but man, they. did. not.

at the same time the fact that this is a series has me torn because the other books sound like they have much more potential and they seem to have consistent praising reviews. i'm totally torn on if i should read the next book or not.. considering the utter fail that i felt this one was.

the thing is, the premise did have potential! but the the way in which it was written just totally ruined it for me. the dialogue is forced and i found myself a few times feeling almost bad for the author knowing people out there may be feeling what i felt, a bad case of secondhand embarrassment. cringe. there's just so many immature characters at play here. i had no emotional connection to anyone in the book.

now, to move onto the next book and give it a chance or throw in the towel and move. the. hell. on.

    2 Letting Go Stars

I get it these characters are in college so there is going to be a level of immaturity. But I guess I underestimated how immature this author wanted to make her characters.

I made it to chapter 25 and I just couldn’t go on, too much unnecessary dramalama, too much negative stuff happing to one character.
    I just couldn’t go on.

The narration was really good, I held out as long as I did because of them.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

  • Jen

I didn't come close to finishing this so I feel bad for giving it one star, hence the 2 star rating. I mean, it could've really started kicking some ass there at the end and I'd never know. My main problem was the writing, more specifically contractions and the lack thereof found in this book. I'm of one opinion when it comes to contractions: they should be used! Unfortunately I found the writing to be extremely awkward and just couldn't manage to finish the story.

  • Sláinte Wanderlust

I tried so hard to read this but even at 10% in i just could not cope with the dialog, it was a bit i donno... hillbilly or something.. jeeze i don't want to be rude but everytime the guy spoke i wanted to stab a fork in my eye.

  • Jen

WHEW!!! What an amazing roller coaster ride I just went on! I started this book yesterday and got absolutely NOTHING done in my house!!LOL! I couldn't put this book down at all. I went through every single emotion there is while reading it and had to start reading #2 as soon as I finished this one!!
So, we begin with Savannah Tate who has been in love with Tyler Mitchell for years. (since she was 14) Believe me, throughout this book, I could not figure out why on earth she would fall for a guy like him. He is a cheater, party frat boy, and just does not take anything in his life seriously. Savannah on the other hand works really hard to maintain her grades in College, and that is her priority. One night she finally catches the dude with his "pants down," (pun intended!)and she races out of the party devastated. Of course, Tyler- being drunk and stupid; steals a guys car and goes after her and ends up in a terrible accident that leaves him in a coma for 7 1/2 long months.
Savannah, stays by his side pretty much the whole time and becomes extremely depressed. Tyler's parents do not help the situation,as they blame her for the accident and so does all of his friends. Along comes Ty's cousin Colt Mitchell. Now, here is a dude who is "Hot Stuff" and a great catch! Wouldn't you know it, Savannah and Colt become very close...ahem...and I am talking EXTREMELY close..*wink*! These too have chemistry that is OFF THE CHARTS!! They battle their attraction for awhile (but not too long) and they eventually fall in love.
Not surprisingly, Ty does wake up and things become difficult, and Savannah just doesn't know what to do about this "love triangle" that has transpired.
Now, I will stop here and say that my biggest complaint with this book came when Ty found out about his cousin and Savannah. There was a soul gripping emotional scene..I was totally feeling it- on the edge of my seat...and this is what Ty says at the very end,
"Ty took my hand and kissed it. "I always said I will give you your forever." He pointed to Colt. "if it wasn't for my accident you never would have found it. I love you Van. See you tomorrow."

    What the F..
I just couldn't believe that after such an emotional scene that is how Ty left..I did find that I was able to overlook it though, because the book on the whole had me absorbed in the story from beginning to end. The sex between Colt and Savannah is blazing hot and there are plenty of them. All in all this was a great read and I have already begun the next book in the series. Let's hope Tyler redeems himself in the next story. If you enjoy an emotional read with plenty of hot scenes thrown in for good measure, than I highly recommend this book. This is one for my keeper shelf and Jennifer Foor is an author I will be watching!

    I LOVED Colt
    I HATED Ty

Savanna and Ty have known each other all their lives. They have been a couple until college when she wants a little space. Well, then something happens and Ty gets in a wreck and is in a coma. Everyone blames Savanna.

I couldn't stand Ty! He is the BIGGEST DICK of all DICKS!!

Then in comes Colt. Oh Colt...* sigh* he is Ty' s cousin. Who has also known Savanna for a long time.
Well, guess what happens next...Yep, a whole lotta sex. DAMN HOT SEX!!! I loved Colt and Savanna together. I wanted to punch Ty AND his parents IN THE FACE

Okay, I'm not going to say anything else. I don't want to spoil ALL the fun.
Read it, you want be disappointed.

    HAPPY READING!

  • Tiffani

    Boring, predictable, tedious.

Without abreviations (e.g. You're, I'm, Thanks,) it makes for rather stiff language, making the entire story seem boring.

It seemed fun and kind of original, but it was really been-there-done-that. I already knew exactly what was about to happen.

Van was whiny, petty, self-pitying and, again, boring. Tedious.
    _____

Honestly Colt? How can you be surprised if a asks (about Sam) if 'she is pretty' that she thought you have a girlfriend?
And Van is such a prude. It may not seem like it, with all her fantasies, but she is. For example, you're what? 19yrs old? Do you really need a 'wall of pillows' between you and a guy you JUST want to sleep with, without sex? Lord.

  • Kim Person

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the love triangle angle but I swear I want to KILL TY but I hear he is redeemed in the second book which is his- haven't read it but purchased so I soon shall see.

Savannah, Van to all her friends/family with the exception of Colt, is a beautiful 19 year old college student. She doesn't know how beautiful she is which I really like that in a character. She is the kindest person and had been in love with Tyler (Ty) since she was 14. They have dated for 5 years when the story begins.

Van has a scholarship to college and unlike Ty she doesn't want to and can't participate in the parties and college life that many experience! She needs to focus on her studies so she maintains the GPA to keep her scholarship. Her parents cannot afford to pay for college for her and she just wants to make them proud.

Ty is your college frat boy, football player, and hometown hero in the small N.C. town they both came from. He loves his booze, loose women and keeping things from Van.

The story begins from Ty's POV following their break-up which Van attributes to dedicating her time to studying and hoping that Ty will slow down and focus on his studies. Ty decides he is going to "fully" enjoy his freedom and that he does. Van comes to the frat party, which Ty knows she will be there, and walks-in to highly intoxicated Ty with a blond floozy. Needless to say Van is heartbroken and runs out of the party.

Ty attempts to follow her and then the accident occurs. He is severely injured and ends up in a coma.

The book then switches to Van's POV and she describes what she has gone through in the past 6 months since the accident and Ty is still comatose. Let me tell you this girl has been through hell and back and what she went through with Ty's family & friends had me want to bring out a big ole an of whoop ass!

Colt Mitchell is Ty's older cousin from Kentucky. He is one FINE man! He is the epitome of sexy and boy did I fall in love with him! He comes out to help Ty's parents with the family farm. He is introduced fairly quickly and comes upon Savannah in Ty's hospital room.

Well once the two meet up again you find that Colt is one heck of a gentleman and all around nice guy. Savannah & Colt are two wonderful characters and it was fun to see their relationship develop.

The book held my interest with the twists and events that occurred. When all is "aired" out so to speak you see that Savannah's emotional response to situations is to "run" and Colt well his is to hold it in.

Ty is along for the ride with the two and you learn that he idolized his older cousin Colt. Also, you are introduced to Marissa who is Colt's cousin and pregnant when you first meet her. There is a scene involving Ty, Savannah and Marissa that I laughed my head off when Savannah yelled at Ty but you have to read it to find out.

This was a wonderful read and I enjoyed it so much that I did purchase the second book which I hear continues where the first left off and is primarily Ty's story.

If your looking for a read that involves a love triangle, true love and events that will pull at your heart strings this is the book for you!

Great book Jennifer! I just found another favorite author to add to my list!!!

Savanna wants to concentrate on her schooling for the time being having a break believing her childhood sweetheart Ty will still be there when she has finished But Ty wants to concentrate on whats in his pants.

So the night Savanna finds him with his pants down literally she is upset and runs off causing Ty to drink and drive and have an accident leaving him in a coma.

    4.5 Stars

I actually picked this one up a while ago and tried to read it but there was just something I didn't like. So yesterday as I was searching for books I cam across this one again. I am so glad I decided to give it a second try. I am a huge fan of Jennifer Foor's writing and the books I read so I figured I had to give this one a try again. I am so glad I did. This book turned out to be wonderful. I actually couldn't put it down and found in fact I read it in one day. It was that good. I would highly recommend this book to those who are looking for an awesome story and a great start to a series. There are several books in this series and I plan to read them all. I hope you will consider giving this one a try. It is a must read.

    Savannah and Colt

I enjoyed this story. It had a little of everything. Ty he could be an a$$ we already new he was a cheater. When he get into a accident that leaves him in a coma. He was driving drunk after Savannah caught him in bed with someone.

Everyone blames her even though it wasn't her fault. Colt comes to the rescue and they fall in love. Oh my goodness you will need tissues for the hospital scene about his father.

  • .Lili.

I definitely recommend this book. This is the second book by Jennifer Foor that I've read and she delivered again. The book is emotional and sensual. A must read- REALLY looking forward to the rest of the series. 5 Stars!!

You know that moment wherein you're so engrossed with the book and you can't stop reading it... but at the back of your mind, what you're really saying is that these scenes absolutely cannot happen in real life..like you absolutely cannot allow it to happen since it'll be awkward and really really weird? Well, I felt that in this book.

I know that it's fiction. I know that this isn't real... but damn if that didn't felt close enough.

    Here are my ratings:

    HOTNESS -- ╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮
✎ Well, let's just say that if you don't call this novel hot after reading it, we gotta talk. KIDDING. hahaha.. but yeah, I found their sizzling scenes to be dammnn great. Savanna and

    PLOT -- ╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮
✎ You have to admit, the idea of a guy being in a coma while his girl (in this case, ex girlfriend) goes around having a relationship with his cousin is very very intriguing right? It's even more intriguing when I found out that Ty wakes up in THE MIDDLE of the novel and not at the end. Ohhh, the drama and all.

✎ I felt really bad for how everyone treated Savanna, even Ty. I like her but it was as if she was okay with everyone bashing her. It doesn't help that in every scene wherein she tries to defend her self, she gets blown off. I'm just glad that she kinda stopped being a pushover and finally claimed what she wanted. Colt had his moments and he's awesome. I admire his patience with Savanna. He's hot, endearing and such a good-boy.. yes, turns out TY was such a liar. LOL. Anywayyy.. his life had a nasty twist but even that felt just right in this novel. Maybe it was a bit fast, but the reactions of the characters? Honestly, I think they were kinda spot on.

✎ I FRIGGIN HATE TY'S MOM... SORRY, SHE JUST DIDN'T HAVE ANY REDEEMING QUALITIES TO ME. If I were to analyze Ty's personality and his problem with staying faithful to one person, it would probably root back to his mom. His mom just babies that selfish brat of a guy. LOL. I hated Ty the moment he woke up. It's as if nothing happened! If he was true, I'd claw his eyes out. How dare he! Anyway... he was such a cyclone of a moodswing! I couldn't keep up! It didn't help that he was basically repeating himself over and over again. I'm even having a hard time imagining him in his own book (he's the protagonist of the next book right?). I can just imagine how lucky the girl could be. Ugh.

    ENDING -- ╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮.5

This one has an "okay" ending. Not really explosive in any way.. just okay for me.

    EMOTIONAL INVOLVEMENT -- ╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮
✎ I guess it's safe to say that I was emotionally invested from page 1 until the very last page. Reading this made me think about a lot of things... family ties, friends, boyfriends, studies, love. I think this one's a must read for anyone who wants to love or care about someone with all of his/her heart and those who're prepared to read some cheesy lines, be frustrated with characters and be disappointed with some.

There we have it. Nice read. :)
I'll be reading the next book...

    about TY..

So maybe I have to think about it first.

Okay, so yeah.. I'll read it.

    Someday. ;p

Ugh... What I thought of this book, hmmm

I'm gonna have to get back with you on that.

The dialog of the book was just lackluster, to say the least. And if Colt said "darlin'" one more time. I realize he's from Kentucky, but seriously he didn't have to say it with every sentence. Again I realize he is from Kentucky, but using the contraction "ain't" annoyed me. In the book he is college educated, and I know few college educated individuals (even from Kentucky) that would ever utter the word ain't. It made him sound like a complete country bumpkin who didn't even graduate high school and not a college educated businessman who did bookkeeping for farms in his hometown.
So for now I think that is enough about Colt...

On to Savannah... where to begin....

GROW A BACKBONE!!!! Seriously, I understand she's upset and thinks she caused Ty's accident (for some STUPID reason). She wasn't to know he was going to try and follow her, while drunk. She wasn't the one caught cheating. Why didn't she stand up for herself when it came to Ty's friends and family. She allowed everyone to walk all over her and put her down. Not once did she EVER stand up for herself. It was like she believed everyone when they called her a tramp--- SERIOUSLY, WHAT!!!

Well, that's about all for now... I just can't write anymore without giving away the ENTIRE book.

It started out good, then I got bored. Van was driving me crazy with the woe is me crap. If you can get with a girl running away crying all the time this book is for you. Some of the stuff she was enduring, made my blood boil. Still, waiting for her to develop a backbone. She got better eventually. It wasn't overally erotic, but did have some hot scenes. Overall it was pretty good, I couldn't believe I ended up liking Ty and can't wait for his story. I am new to Ms. Foor's work, but I will check out the next book and Hope's chance. Definitely recommend.
