Thus far, I have loved everything I've read by this author. With that said, I know Drama better not be hurt because Promise distracted them from their mission. I knew it was something up with Trudy after that encounter at Promise's house. But to be sleeping with your "friend's ole man" and still talk to her, that's lowdown. I love me some Promise and Drama. Being that Clay gave Promise a reason to doubt the actions of your man, but to follow him to see what? Now, I wonder if she is going to pull away from him after what she found out about his second job. I know the story is centered around Promise and Temper's relationship, but I would like to see more of Denver and Drama in book 2. -

Promise is so got dang aggravating! I was hoping that her attitude would change throughout the book, but she was still stuck in LaLa land the whole dang time! How do you date a man from the streets and be that clueless? Then she stupidly follows this man not knowing what she’s getting herself into. She then proceeds to walk in on them doing a hit! Bruhhhh! Her 2+2 not not knowing what the F it is ahh still didn’t realize that her so called best friend was sleeping with her ex and acted all shocked and appalled when she actually saw them in the bed together. Lord, just take the wheel because that girl is as slow as they come! -

Bonnie, good read. I really think Drama and Temper are some good guys. It's so good watching Denver and Promise getting just what they deserve. In my opinion, Promise is to loyal to the wrong person. I want Promise to understand her worth, and to let Temper lead. Clay is a piece of work. He really thinks he is the man. I knew Promise friend was a snake. I hope what I think happened won't make Promise lose her mind.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 -

Ok…so I knew it was Trudy’s dusty musty self that was messing with Clay. It be those closest to you that do you so wrong. I really love Promise’s character but she’s doing too much. She be knowing what Temper is about. She’s smart enough to know about street stuff so she can’t be blinded. She’s got to make the right choice for herself. I hope she gets better in book 2 because. Overall, great characters, beautifully written and good plot twist! -

Although I love this book Promise got on my nerves like why would you follow him when you never followed clay ass . Then when you saw him and his brother and they were in all black she should of turned around and left. However I hope Drama wasn’t the one shoot and he did the shooting. I need part two asap -

Ok great start to this book. Good girl meets thug guy. Promise is girl and she meets Temper but has a situationship with Clay. There’s ups and downs with friends and shocking revelations!!! -

It was really sad that women can’t keep it a buck with there bff. Trudy was not true from the beginning and was envious of promise being independent and working hard for what she had. I’m team promise and temper so I hope it works out for them in the end. -

Promise knew what she'd gotten involved in with both Temper and clay! Trudy was the snake I always knew she was. Her bark was too loud and hard. Now that they're gone what's next for the couple? -
