Im Too Fond of My Fur! (Geronimo Stilton, #4) Reviews
-
As an adult that reads with her children I look for certain qualities in a book that I find redeeming. Meaningful characters, good morals or lessons taught...a proper noun. While this wasn't complete trash, I would prefer to spend my time with something containing a bit more depth. Yes, even children's literature can have depth.

*Update*
Geronimo got a scary call from his friend Professor Von Holtz, saying he needed help and told him to come quickly. Geronimo travels to find his friend and the legend of the yeti! Will it be a dangerous journey or will everything turn out fine!
This story was really cute and funny. I remember reading this with my brother and him singing all the songs that Trap was singing. I learned a lot about Mount Everest and heard it is a very dangerous journey because of how cold it is. Many travelers have had frostbite as a result of it. I cannot wait for the rest of the series as it will be my first time reading it since I was a child.
Who Is Geronimo Stilton?
That's me! I run a newspaper, but my true passion is writing tales of adventure. Here on Mouse Island, my books are all best-sellers! What's that? You've never read one? Well, my books are full of fun. They are whisker-licking good stories, and that's a promise!
I'm Too Fond of My Fur!
I was on my way 'round the world to Mouse Everest! The trip was long and dangerous. I almost froze my tail off on the way. And then I was kidnapped by the Abominable Snowman! Yes, it was truly an amazing adventure....
My brother's review: I really liked this book because I thought it was really cute to be with his family during this trip because they are an amazing family and I would like to travel anytime with them I love learning about Mount Everest and all the facts about it and i can't wait for the next book
My review: I thought I was really cute book and everything and my brother laughed so much during this one and was singing the songs that Trap was singing and it was really cute to watch him do all of it and i can't wait to read the next one with him. -

This one is probably my favorite. There are Yetis and a Woolly Mammoth. Geronimo gets a call from a friend who needs his help. Says he found the Yeti. Geronimo is under the impression that he is in trouble and Geronimo goes to rescue him. When he finds his friend, he finds out that he is just trying to save the Yeti cub from dying. After Geronimo helps the cub, he finds a Woolly Mammoth frozen in ice and decides to write a story on that. When they get back home, the press is surrounding them for pictures. The museum defrosts the Mammoth and puts him on display for everyone.

Professor Von Volt called Geronimo to Mouse Everest to save the last Everest Yetis in the world. Geronimo reached his destination he was not in trouble the baby Yeti was in trouble because he had chicken-pox. Professor Von Volt asked Geronimo to hand him a book he found the medicine for the chicken-pox to save the baby Yeti. When Geronimo came home to the camp he saw a woolly mammoth and wrote about it in the Rodent's Gazette.

Bueno pero me gusta la parte en la que muestran a bebe yeti
-
Fun enough, but I don't like the artwork in the earlier books.
-
Was a good book but not one of my favourites
-
I didn't find this one as interesting as the last one. Maybe because haunted houses are more interesting to me then Yeti's are. LOL
-
I enjoy these stories because they have more information and sometimes use literary references that are funny!

Placeholder for Les Drogues (expliquées aux adolescents) par Bruno Boutot. Im gonna get Grace to help me find the actual book.

Not my favourite of the Stilton books by any means but always a reminder of why I love reading and a series I’ll happily pick up when I’m in a slump.
-
I'm just re-reading out of pure nostalgia, NOT BECAUSE, I totally used to have an elementary school crush on Geronimo or anything.....

This book is about the adventure that Geronimo Stilton, his sister Thea, his cousin Trap and his favourite nephew Benjamin had rescuing his friend Professor Paws Von Volt from a yeti. It all starts when Geronimo receives a distress call from his friend Professor Paws Von Volt saying that he had spotted a yeti and that his life was in danger. So off they went to Kathmandu, Nepal and they eventually found him at Mouse Everest with a little help from strangers.
I liked that the storyline built up and became this super exciting masterpiece because first it was in a house and then the top of Mouse Everest! I also liked that the illustrations were there to help my imagination and made it a blockbuster movie in my mind.
I wished that the book was longer because it was a very funny book and also because I finished the book in one night.
One thing I disliked about the book is Trap. He always plays jokes on Geronimo at the wrong time and if I were in Geronimo’s shoes, I would hate to have a cousin like that.

I love how Geronimo Stilton books often involve multiple members of the Stilton family. The quirks that Thea, Trap, and Benjamin each bring to the table made this book so much funnier. Trap, in particular, was absolutely spectacular in this book, with his entertaining songs.
Don’t look down, it’s much too scary! Watch that step, be very wary! Poor Geronimo, you’re such a cheesehead, You get dizzy when you climb out of bed!
Trap, the only mouse that could sing about cheese.Mozzarella, parmesan, Don’t forget the cheddar. Goat cheese, Swiss cheese, Any of these are better! There are so many cheeses, Why stick to just one? When tasting all different kinds Is really half the fun!
Anyhow, this book makes for a quick, entertaining read for readers of all ages! -

A funny and delightful read, best for kids aged 7 and up. Full of fun illustrations and adventures. You don't need to have read the previous books to be engaged with this one.

What a delightful book! Beautiful illustrations and wonderful place names make it a real winner. After reading it myself (just to be sure!) I gave it to my neighbour's seven year old who adored it. And of course wanted the rest of the series!! Highly recommended to pull them away from their screens.

Geronimo could have never, ever imagined that his trip around Mount Everest would lead to being kidnapped by a yeti of all things! Dami will keep young readers glued to the pages with this fantastic adventure in the next entry to the "Geronimo Stilton" series. Be sure to bundle up as you read along with this terrific journey!

I read this book when I was sick it is amazingly good and I read it in one go it was very interesting to read about the Yetis at the end but then there is a frozen wolly mammoth and Geronimo Stilton actually kind of lies because He said that he found a mammoth but he doesn't say it is frozen but it still gets a 5 star very good read

This book 📖 is really good. one thing I love about it is when they take real things an turn them into mouse 🐁 related things. When Geronimo Stilton says he's going to have to climb mouse everest 🏔 in sted of mount everest. And also when it talks about the ratlantic ocean 🏝 instead of the Atlantic Ocean.

Geronimo gets a call from a good friend of his that he needs help and found some information about a possible yeti but he needs help. Geronimo is excited to help but doesn’t want to go without his family. Once they all agree they make their trip towards his friends. Are there actual yetis? That’s what they are trying to figure out

3.5 stars, it was okay. It was entertaining, educational, and slightly repetitive.
