Real College: The Essential Guide to Student Life Reviews

This is a neat little book. It's entertaining and informative, though I don't know how much I benefitted from it since a. I'm a transfer student and b. I already know what to do and what I should be doing. I'm just excited about finally going to a University in the fall so I am reading lots of books on the subject. Unfortunately, most are meant for 18-year-olds. But this book follows a group of fictional college students, and it's fun to see where they end up and read the messages they send each other and other people. I recommend it if you don't plan things in advance or are totally scared about going to University. I cannot do anything without researching a subject thoroughly (partly out of excitement), and I just don't have time to waste. I need to know things. But I still found this book beneficial, so whether you are 18 or 24, perhaps you will too.

I had to read this book before entering my first year at Gallaudet University for my First Year Seminar course. This book is all about what you are supposed to do when you are at college. It based mostly on experiences and advices from other students, professors, and parents.
