Everything except him .
This unspoken attraction between us is turning my already shattered world upside down.
♥♥♥
It’s been two years, and I can’t move past my loss. I guess that’s what happens when I’m left alone after a tragic accident takes everything that matters to me. Now I’m stuck with the one label I never wanted in life—Widow.
I need so much more than a distraction. I need a new life, a new home, and a new beginning.
It may seem like a drastic move to most, but leaving Savannah, Georgia is my only option.
A mountain chalet in northern Montana, with amazing views of the Rockies, is exactly what I need to refocus my life and my writing career. Just like me, the chalet needs a major renovation.
I welcome the hard work. I need it to feel alive again.
Besides, I’m prepared for it. I carefully planned out every detail of my move—the location, the design for the renovation, incorporating my writing career into my new home, and connecting with the local community.
But the one thing I didn’t plan for was Adam.
The chemistry that sparks between us is unlike anything I ever experienced before, and I have no clue how to handle it.
♥♥♥
I’m not sure my heart has room for a second chance at love, but I fall hard for the man I hired to renovate my new home. But I don’t know how to let my broken heart heal and accept the love Adam willingly offers. My instincts tell me to close myself off and keep my distance. But that might doom me to a lifetime of loneliness and pain.

Loved it!
Camille moves to Montana to get away from the pain from her past. She doesn’t expect to find Adam. She’s afraid of being with someone again, but she can’t deny the attraction she feels for him. Adam was hurt from his divorce, and hasn’t let anyone get close to him. But the moment he sees Camille, he knows she’s different. But he knows he has to tread carefully because of her past.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a wonderful, sweet story of getting a second chance at love. Both of these characters are wonderful. And have their own issues that they are dealing with. I loved seeing their relationship grow, and watch as they were what the other needed, in order to heal, and move in from their losses. It was nice reading a book about characters that are a bit older. This was a very well written book, and I definitely recommend it. This is the form book from this author that I’ve read, and I’ll definitely be reading more. **I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest review** -
Thank you to Author Aria Bliss and BookSirens for providing me with an ARC for not only this book, but the first 5 in the Watercress Falls series. All opinions shared are my own.
This was an enjoyable read and I particularly appreciated that both Adam and Camille were closer to age 50 and as such, had their own established lives and for Cami, an adult child. I feel that the story delved into the grief that both MCs had experienced in an authentic way and didn't gloss over the negative things they've lived through.
I love a home renovation so this was a fun aspect of the story for me. The thing that made this a 3 star for me was that I felt that the relationship itself resembled how one would act when they're in their early twenties, rather than in their forties. Especially when you consider how each of their last long term relationships ended. Everything else in the book I connected with and really enjoyed and moved straight on to book two! -

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
I have a bad memory but I truly think this is a new to me author. I will add that I will continue to read her stories as this was just able broken my heart. As I am older now, I also loved that this story was not about 20 or 30ish type of characters but more mature one.
I have only been married once and we are still together but I really felt Camille's (Cami) pain as if it were my own. I could totally feel the emotions that she was going through like it was my own.
Adam was the perfect type of male protagonist for Cami. He was totally understand as he has also suffered heartbreak but a long time ago. He loss was from a divorce and not death. These two characters were great to read about and fall in love with.
I look forward to reading more of this series. This story is a steamy one. -
I enjoyed this book overall. The beginning plot gets your feelings and heart in a bit of a twist with the loss of Camille’s husband and son. I feel like many who have experienced similar situations can relate to it, and it touches my heart for those who I know personally who have suffered a such loss. *this is your warning that my review will have spoilers from here on.. A big part of the story was Camille’s grief and guilt for wanting to move on in her life. I appreciated the expressions of her feelings and her processes she went through to overcome and allow love back into her heart. The story touched a little on Camille’s husband and son’s deaths (I felt like they could have been larger parts of the story, there was a lot I just had to assume about how they were before they passed away), her strained relationship with her mother, and Adam’s pain from his ex-wife but the book didn’t delve much into those things. I felt like more elaboration or closure could have been taken from these than what the story told. The ending was a happy one but I felt like I wanted more for Adam. He seemed so genuine, loving and sweet and I felt like his character deserved more. He wanted kids so badly and he was so loving with his niece (and overall). If there was a story with a later-in-life child or adopted child, this was one I was hoping for during the whole story. Not that gaining Liz wasn’t a good thing but it’s not the same as raising his own (which he said he always wanted), and Liz was already a fully grown adult at 25 years old. He was denied his chance to start his own family and betrayed by his ex-wife. He gave all he had to help Camille overcome her struggles because she was grieving and broken. He got Camille and Liz’s love (which should be a given) and that’s it. He was so adorably sweet and I wanted him to have it all. I wanted to see a happier end for him but maybe I’m a greedy reader that wants to have her cake and eat it too. I love happy endings and while this fit the bill it left me a little bit unfulfilled. Just my opinion. But that’s not to say it wasn’t a heart-warming story overall. Because it is definitely a sweet one after the grief. I received an ARC copy of this book and am leaving an honest review.

Book Sirens gave me the opportunity to read an ARC of “Healing Hearts” by Aria Bliss, the first book in a new small town romance series called Hearts of Watercress Falls, in return for an honest review. I have never read any book from this author before, but I will definitely read more.
I love being captured from the opening sentence and in this case the book did not disappoint me: “I grab the last of my boxes and rush out the front door”. The story is a small town romance revolving around two people in their forties, Camille and Adam, both broken, each because of their own loss. One is a heartbroken widow after having lost her husband and son in a tragic accident and the other a struggling divorced architect whose wife left him because he returned to Montana although he had a promising career in Chicago.
The author’s writing style appeals to me: the alternating story-telling from the point of view of the two protagonists, who are well-rounded; the lack of melodrama; the development of their relationship; their understanding of each other’s needs; it all grabbed me.
I gave the book 4 stars and will definitely read the next book of the series. -
Healing Hearts is a second chance at a love story. Camille wants a new start after the loss of her husband and son. She has been in mourning for five years. She decides to move to Watercress Falls, Montana. With her daughter’s blessing, she makes the move across the country. Camille is a writer, so her job is secure with the move. She embarks on another passion with the purchase of her new home. She plans to remodel the home and hopefully turn it into a retreat for other writers.
Adam is a native to Watercress Falls. He left to attend college, but returned home to his roots. He enjoys helping his family on their ranch, but his passion is architecture. Adam runs his own business in Watercress Falls. He still struggles with his ex-wife’s lies and betrayal.
Camille hires Adam to work on restoring her new home. They have instant sparks, but take things slow. Will they be able to overcome their pasts to reach for a brighter future together?

Wonderful love story about two people who are very attracted to each other but who are struggling with events in their past which are causing them to put up barriers stopping them from moving ahead with their lives. Camille lost her husband Mark and her son Alex two years ago and has left her home to start a new life far away from the constant reminders of what happened. However, she feels guilty because she thinks she was responsible for the car accident that claimed their lives. Adam had decided to leave Chicago and his flourishing career to move back to his small home town to be near his family...his wife didn't want to join him so she divorced him. Two broken people desperate to move on. I loved the chemistry between Camille and Adam and was pleasantly surprised with the hot scenes between them! This book is by an author I haven't read before but I will definitely be looking out for more from her. I recommend this book wholeheartedly!

Building a New Life to Get a Second Chance ❤❤🔥❤❤
I absolutely love Camille and Adam's story!!! Camille's life was shattered in one split second, making her not only a widow, she also lost her son in a car accident. Staying in Savannah is no longer an option living with memories and the looks of pity from friends. Although leaving her daughter, Lizzy, to move to Montana hurts she needs time to heal. Adam is an architect in the small town of Watercress Falls Montana. Leaving the big city of Chicago to return home to his family and hometown, Adam has a successful business and has great respect for the land and nature which he incorporates in his jobs. Still healing from the betrayal of his ex wife fifteen years ago, Adam hasn't had any connection to a woman since, nor the desire to. When Adam and Camille literally run into each other their lives are on the fast track of change. Learning it's Camille's chalet that he'll be renovating sends his heart speeding. Camille feels the attraction but she also feels guilt for that attraction. As Camille and Adam spend time together their feelings grow, they open their hearts, share life stories and fear. Lizzy even forms a bond with Adam and encourages her mom to be happy. What happens when Adam confesses his love then Lizzy freaks out when she learns Adam spent the night accusing Camille of forgetting her father?? How can Camille choose past love or a second chance?? I love that the characters are older with life experiences, healing but not broken and realize they are stronger when together. The secondary characters are as important as the man characters as they give Camille and Lizzy the taste of what family means. I highly recommend this a MUST READ!!! I voluntarily reviewed a ARC of this book and happily purchased a copy for my favorites collection. I wasn't even 35% through the ARC when I searched and purchased this book along with the other books in this series. Can't wait to read Matt's story. -
I really enjoyed this book, small town is a fave troupe mine. It flowed nicely as did the slow burn, which kept me reading, sometimes way too late into the night just to see what would happen.
Camille is a wonderful character, very believable with the exception of being a doormat where her mother is involved. I don't understand how a woman in her forties could let her mother act that way towards her or being married for 20 years her husband would allow it.
What can I say about Adam, I adored him. Although I find it hard to believe he let what his ex did to him fester for 10 years. Letting himself lose out on what he really desired and dreamed of. That was all him and he should have got professional help.
I actually liked the people of the town and his family (unlike in the 2nd book Matt's story) But his mother Rosie still rubs me the wrong way.
Aria Bliss handled Camille's heartbreak wonderfully which I was thankful for and lead to the believability of the story. Definitely an author I will continue to read!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. -
Heart-wrenching grief, judgmental family drama, and relocation to another part of the country: these are some of the issues Camille deals with in this story. Will a renovated home, a friendly town, and an attractive architect be what she needs to heal? This romance story includes more than boy meets girl, falls in love, and lives happily ever after. These older characters have experienced loss and despair. Meeting each other does not magically take away their pain. I like this more realistic aspect of romance. Despite the serious issues of the characters, this book definitely delivers romance with passion although some scenes seem unrealistic. The likeable characters in this Montana small town drew me in and made me curious about the future of the other residents and family members. Camille's story does not seem to satisfactorily end here, so I hope to hear about her again in subsequent titles in this series. I received a complimentary advance review copy of this title from the author through Book Sirens and submit this review voluntarily.

Wonderful second chapter romance!
Adam and Camille are both in their late 40s when she hires him to renovate the chalet she just bought. She's still finding her footing two years after a tragic accident, and he's still figuring out how to trust fifteen years after a devastating divorce. Camille hides her pain deep down in her heart and is wary of sharing her pain because she's accustomed to being constantly criticized for her choices, so she tries to keep Adam at arm's length but their chemistry is all-consuming and his charm is irresistible.
I really loved the pacing of this story, how she slowly opened up as they grew closer, and how Adam focused on what she needed rather than what he was looking for. I loved the small town atmosphere, the supporting cast of family and friends, and the reminder that not all families are the same.
I really enjoyed this story and highly recommend it for anyone who loves steamy contemporary romances. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. -
Healing hearts ( Hearts of Watercress Falls 1)
This is the first book in this series by this author. This is the first book I've read from this author and OMG I was hooked from the first page. This is the amazing story of Camille and Adam, after suffering heart break Camille has to have time to heal until Adam coms into the picture. These two characters share heartbreak, romance and extremely hot chemistry throughout the book. This is such an amazing story from start to finish. I can’t wait to read more in this amazing series from this author.
I was given a copy of this book and this is my honest review

I really enjoy Aria Bliss's writing, and this didn't disappoint at all. Camille, a couple of years after losing both her husband and son in a car accident, packs her life up and moves to Montana, to a small mountain town, and buys a fixer upper, in an attempt to put the grief, loss and sadness behind her and try to find a new life to live. Running into the towns sexy, single, architect – literally - is the fresh start she's longing for.
Both Camille and Adam have heartbreak in their past that they are grappling with, but Ms. Bliss does a lovely job of having them struggle through but get through, while falling in love and bringing us all the big emotions that go along with that.
This is a lovely story and I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. As the beginning of the series, we are introduced to many new characters, and I'm intrigued to discover who will get their own story as the series unfolds. -
I thought this book was really cute. I was a bit hesitant to continue reading the book when I found out the main characters are in their 40s just because I typically like to stick with books that are closer to my age which is mid 20s. I am happy that I went through with it though.
I loved how Adam was completely smitten with Camille and vice versa. Both characters had their own issues but I loved watching them grow. I also loved how supportive they were of each other.
Because Adam had always wanted kids, I wish that Camille and Adam were able to have their own kids besides Elizabeth or maybe even adopting! Just because I thought he deserved the world.
This is my first book of Aria Bliss and I can't wait to read more books from the author!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. -
What a great story about grief, loss and starting over. Camille has like at her husband and son in a car accident and after a couple years decides to completely move away from where it all happened. In doing so she is moving away from her surviving anchor, her daughter and her not so great mother and friends. Adam is the sexy architect that has lost his father and had a bad divorce. Both know they should open up and move on, it’s getting past themselves that is the hurdle. Thankfully, they get a HEA.
This was such a well written story with a lot of feeling and depth. I enjoyed the book being about a mature couple and am definitely looking forward to the next!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. -
Camille needs a new place to start fresh after losing her husband and son in an accident, so she moves from Georgia to Montana. Adam moved back home from Chicago and a divorce. She hires him to work on her house and the two start a relationship, with both being very hesitant.
The characters have survived facets of grief and are taking their futures in force. Each helps the other open up to more of life and the future. Very heartwarming as things start to grow stronger. Decisions, surprises and twists keep you on the edge so you can not put the book down. Loved the sweet restart to this couples lives. We are definitely not dead at fifty. Loved the ending. Well done.
