The Best of Hawai'i's Best Spooky Tales Reviews
-
This is an interesting collection of local ghost stories. A lot of these are told as first person experiences, so they're not really structured as stories, so there isn't much effort at building a mood before introducing the haunt. These aren't really that scary, so if you sensitive to being scared, you could probably handle this collection.

Interesting style of writing since it changed with each individual story and the person telling it. The stories were not re-written to keep to the same style which grated a little with me, they could have been re-told and tweaked just a little in some case.
Having said that this would be a great handbook to take on a trip to Hawaii especially when visiting area's mentioned -
True tales are always fun. The editing sucks but I think it’s done on purpose to make them seem more realistic.

I'm not going to submit myself any longer to this snooze fest. Barely any of the stories in here can be categorized as such and calling them spooky is a stretch. Not worth the price and was bored throughout.
