    These are the four audio-cds that go along with "
    Full Catastrophe Living." Both are by the author Jon Kabat-Zinn. The only things that some may find problematic are Kabat-Zinn's vocal/speech mannerisms (a bit of nasal twang and a tendency to breath after only a few words) but once you get used to his sound, it really becomes a non-issue. Another downside is that each CD is a 45-min. session, and not everyone has that amount of time to devote to meditation and/or yoga each day. But I'll tell you, if you even do a little of it, it really helps.

    I really liked this audio since it's relaxing. I like the full body scan and it makes you feel refreshed. I wish I could find more visulazation type CD's though.

    This audio book has 4 different meditation. I liked the book but preferred Where Ever You Go There You Are.

    Narrator reminds me of that old cartoon about Dr. Katz. This will probably work well for some, but not a good match for me.

    A friend recommended this Jon Kobat-Zinn guy to help me relax when I get ready to go sleep at night. I primarily use the first CD which is Zinn speaking to you in a soothing way, telling you stretch your toes, then one foot, then the other, etc. It goes slowly as each part of your body is relaxed ........the CD is 45 minutes long but I have always fallen asleep before the end. The other 3 CDs are yoga oriented which is okay, I like the deep breathing techniques the best. Just do it! Simple as that. Its the hardest easiest most natural but full of boundaries to cross and discover. Its about being the person you are but somehow that can be very hard. Staying in the moment is about living with every breath. Simple as it is - you may discover more then going around the world in 48 hours or less... These CD sets were a great price point for such an effective form of relaxation/meditation. Good luck and do the practice.

    To many people, Jon Kabat-Zinn is considered the father of mindfulness. He really has done remarkable work in the field of alternative medicine and mind-body approaches to healing. This CD walks you through a body scan and other exercises to help you live more in the present moment.

    Just... No. The breathing. His, not my relaxed breathing but listening to his while he waxed on about why meditation is a good thing. That isn't quite what helps me meditate. And his random "ommmm"s? He may be great in lecture but not so much on a meditation cd. False advertising, maybe?

    This is the first in a series of 3 CD sets with guided meditation sessions. This set includes two CDs with basic Hatha yoga. I used this set in between stress management classes I took at Kaiser.

    Just four guided meditations. I prefer his seated stuff, but I still went through the Hatha stuff he presented, which will be good for some people.

    I listened to part of the second in this series. While I like to read Kabat-Zinn, I find his nasal voice very annoying. Cannot use it for guided meditation myself. Others might not mind.
