Dear Author,
I never felt quite right with any of my partners, not male, certainly not female. Something was always missing—and I don't mean physically.

When I moved to a different city, got a new job with these two, I gradually started to realize I wanted them. Both of them. They're so in love, so fucking in love, that it hurts to watch them when I want them so much.

This is so unexpected. This was not an option. After all, I'd never risk breaking them apart, because I really lo—shit. I'm in a bit too deep, aren't I?

Tony never felt he got everything he needed in his past relationships. When he meets the lovely, irresistible couple, Marcus and Bryan, he suddenly realizes what he was missing.

I didn't want one of them, didn't want my own version of their relationship. I wanted their relationship, I wanted both of them, wanted to be let in on the marvelous partnership they had. I was in love with them. Both of them; in love with the two of them together. If it wasn't them, if it wasn't that love, it wasn't enough.

I love polyamorous romances, and it is a sweet one, though I’d love to read more about them. The story is told from Tony’s viewpoint in first person, and unfortunately it is very limited here. I wanted to know Marcus and Bryan’s thoughts and feelings too.

I liked this story. There was some nice build up of a friendship between Tony and Marcus/Bryan (mixed in with Tony's feelings for the 2 guys that he worked for). Tony's frustration, fear, and sadness about thinking he had to leave them made me ache for him. Liked how the story all worked out.

The story of Tony a home remodeler who moves into a home with Bryan and Marcus to work on some projects.

This story is told in first person through Tony's eyes, and I couldn't quite indentify with Tony. I kept thinking this story might have been better told in third person. Tony's character wasn't as clear to me, I got a much better feel for Bryan and Marcus. The one thing I got about Tony was that he was incredibly lonely.

I think I would have liked to learn more about Bryan and Marcus and find out what attracted them to Tony and what sort of conversations they had with each other about him. As it was, the couple's background felt 'incomplete.'

The sex was hot and filled the prompt picture well.

I can't give more than three stars, because I need more info about Bryan and Marcus, and also not feel so distanced from Tony.

So, first off I want to say that the author did a really good job with this story and the story matched the prompt and the picture beautifully. My dislikes for this story are personal preferences only. I, personally, have no problem with menage stories but I myself do not like established couples bringing a third guy into their committed (or in this case marriage) relationship. That is just not my cup of tea. For me to like some m/m/m action it has to be 3 single guys getting together and then falling in love. Again, this is not an issue with this story just MY issue with this type of story.

Synopsis: Tony moves to a new city, and answers an ad to do some renovations on a house. When he gets there, and gets to know the couple, Marcus and Bryan, he feels attracted to both men, and wants to be part of their relationship. When Marcus and Bryan ask him to be their third, Tony accepts, thinking that this will be just until the house is fixed, that it won't be permanent.

What I liked: I liked the build in friendship and relationship. I liked the interactions between all three characters.

What I didn't like: Tony was just a little too...clingy? Whingey? Low self-esteem? for me.

I’m not sure why I’m so intrigued with the concept of a ménage, but gotta say I love the m/m/m dynamic! Maybe it’s the fact that it’s a bit taboo, or maybe it’s the many permutations of m/m/m action that I can envision – probably both!! :) The way that Tony entered the already established relationship between Bryan and Marcus and the way that it built to the point of the three coming together felt very realistic. To quote Tony, “More. Need more.” I’d love more of these three!!!

I truly believe that I'm too inexperienced to review this one. The story was well written, exciting, and way up on the "Oh My God This Is Hot" meter... but honestly? All I could think throughout the story was, wouldn't being part of a threesome be complicated? I had trouble juggling one, wouldn't two be doubly troublesome? Again, the story was definitely hot enough to cook with and well worth the read.

This is a nice story with good characters.
For me personally I'm not overly keen on a ménage relationship that starts with an already established couple. I prefer three single men finding each other.
Also we needed Marcus and Brian's PoV. We needed to know what they thought of Tony, what they said when they discussed him. Without this it was all a bit incomplete.

Great short story menage. Surprising how well the authors were able to build the characters and the set the scene for romance in just a short story. And terrific that they did this for the LIAW event. Great job.

Nice short story. I would have liked to know a lot more about what Bryan and Marcus where thinking and feeling. What made them want Tony to join their family unit? It would have made the story a lot stronger in my opinion. Still, quite enjoyable.

It's not explained here exactly why two committed, happily married men would want a third guy in the relationship...but this was still sweet and hot.

Tony is there to fix up their house but Marcus and Bryan seem more interested in building a family with him. Tony sure earns a very special bonus.
