Aurelia
For as long as I can remember, the woods outside the garden of Eden have whispered my name on the warm breeze.
After escaping through the shimmering gates, I follow the wood’s call and enter the eerie, cold darkness.
What I didn’t expect was to find myself kidnapped and taken to Hell by three fallen angels with majestic black wings, raven hair, and dark eyes.
The curiosity burning inside me was always my greatest downfall, and now it has led me here, to the point of no return. One single, sinful touch is all it takes to tilt my world on its axis.
But I won’t go down without a fight. If they want to break me, they’ll have to fight for it.
Daemon
We stumble upon her one night, the innocent angel from Eden, lost in the woods by herself, like a lamb led to slaughter.
Untouched and unspoiled.
White wings that beg to be dipped in black ink.
And curious, blue eyes that plead for corruption.
A shiny new toy to play with until it breaks.
But everything is not what it seems.
Behind her innocence lurks something far fiercer.
Something that could bring me to my knees if I let my guard down.
Touched by Sin is book 1 in the Sins of The Fallen Trilogy.
These books are not standalones and must be read in order.
Content Note
Touched By Sin is a why-choose FFMMM romance where the main character gains multiple love interests through the course of the three books. This series is a dark paranormal romance. Whatever fallen angel crack was put in this book has me craving more. This series is fucking incredible!
-
1st person/multi pov
Spice: 5/5
What in the actual Hell... I'm pretty sure endings like this are what my own personal torture loop would consist of if I do indeed wind up down there lol. And I say that with the utmost praise believe it or not. Because what a way to throw me into a tailspin at the last minute! I'm seconds away from pulling my hair out and completely mind-blown. It came so far out of left field and knocked the wind out of me!
I think it's safe to say this book is wildly amazing and so entertaining. Aurelia is living contently in Eden but is always so curious about the woods beyond the gates. They are not allowed to venture out of those gates though so she spends her days gazing and wondering. But when the day comes and she see's a chance to step outside of Eden and into the forest to investigate it herself she takes that chance her curiosity finally getting the best of her. It doesn't take long however for her to stumble across three sinful fallen angels traveling through the trees.
Enter Daemon and his two best friends Alaric and Ronan. They decide a pure angel of Eden is too good to pass up and bring her back to Hell with them. Aurelia shines in this world of darkness. Her blonde hair and white wings were a striking contrast to everyone else's dark hair and black wings. She radiates with the inner light of Eden brightening up Daemon's home but all he wants to do is dirty her up and dim that light. As he and his friends parade her around their academy showing off their prized catch Aurelia discovers so many things about these fallen angels she didn't know were possible. She in turn begins to wonder about her own self and what capabilities she may have. After all, they came from angels who once lived in Eden just like her.
If the story hadn't hooked me already I would have been snatched up by it at this point no matter what. Things go from interesting to 'I can't put this down' in a matter of minutes. It's like a switch gets flipped inside Aurelia and she goes from this timid innocent creature to a woman who is full of spark and as stubborn as the men who captured her. She has decided she will fight back and do what it takes to survive until she can figure out a way back home. But not before also learning all that she can about the things Eden refused to teach them. The more she learns the more she gives in to the life surrounding her in Hell. The pleasure, the excitement, the anger, the jealousy - all of these emotions and feelings she's never experienced before that she is finding are harder and harder to resist. The tether between her and the guys is growing as well as a pull to the feisty Darianna, one of the guys' usual playthings/friends.
The guys begin to notice how Aurelia is taking over their senses and quickly becoming the center of their attention, especially Daemon's. Daemon refuses to let a woman get to him as much as she does and will never let himself be controlled by one in any way. In an effort to maintain his control, he frequently pushes Aurelia's buttons as she pushes his right back. They constantly test each other's limits while they fight not only the lust but the yearning that has formed between them. But as Aurelia is learning more about herself and any powers she may or may not have it becomes clear that someone or something is not pleased with her arrival in this world. Her own mind is no longer safe and her life is suddenly hanging in the balance of a centuries-long agreement between powerful angels. Daemon, Alaric, Ronan, and even Darianna are determined to keep her as theirs and do everything in their power to make sure she isn't taken from them.
Once the suspense and mystery started falling into place I was done for. Flying through page after page as if I couldn't take a breath until I flipped to the next one. The characters had me laughing one minute and angry the next. I can't tell you how many times my heart constricted inside of my chest over things that were happening between Daemon and Aurelia. They are both exactly the same when it comes to how hard-headed they are and their need to control. However, as frustrating as they could be sometimes it also made for some seriously smoking hot spicy scenes! The other two guys are dominating and dirty in their own way but Daemon brings an extra level of authority to the mix and it just makes him even more delicious. When it comes to Darianna I couldn't breathe half the time! This was my first time reading anything that had an FF relationship in it so I was excited to pop that proverbial cherry but I wasn't prepared for how freaking sexy these two would be together - like set your skin on fire kind of hot. I now have some new criteria when looking for my next 'why choose' book that's for sure haha!
I'm telling you this book has all of my favorite things in it plus some things I had no idea I liked. I loved the hatred and anger in the beginning and how it morphs into so much more by the end yet still keeps that enemies-to-lovers vibe that I drool over. Daemon can make you swoon and piss you off in the same sentence and I couldn't get enough of it lol! Aurelia has such a transformation from the beginning of the book to the end but also remains true to herself deep down. But the ending...
The way this ends has to be at the top of my hate-to-love cliffhangers list. Because the cliffhanger is SO friggin good, it really is, but man is it one that will have you screaming in frustration and anger. It is one reason it has taken me a few days since finishing the book to finish this review. I just had to sit there at one point and try to work out my feelings over it. Granted it didn't work and I am still just as confused over how I feel about it lol but still at that moment, I was paralyzed from putting any thoughts into words. I am absolutely questioning everything I just read now and trying to predict where things could go from here, what could happen next, and/or who could be behind all the mysterious things that are happening. To say that I am ready for the next book is a severe understatement!
*Make sure to check the TW before reading - trust me it's a pretty dark book at times.*
~This is book one in a series and does end on a cliffhanger.~ -
So spicy! So good! Ready to devour more! Will she make it back to her boys!? Is Dari okay!?
Diving right into the next one! ✌🏼😘🥵🌶️🩷 -

absolutely amazing, the characters, the writing, smexy times, plot. I am obsessed with this series. I think I need to read everything by Harleigh immediately. -
I’ll start by saying, I’m not a paranormal romance girly, but omg… if you said Cindy what do you want in a book… this would be it! It’s dark, twisted, FFMMM 🥵, so unbelievably toxic, smut filled, and made me tear up! The plot is interesting and this is just the tip of the ice burg as there are 2 more books to come, that I can’t wait to get my hands on.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Add it to your TBR now! I promise you won’t regret it 😏 -
This book had me shook. I was hooked from page 1 and guessing what was going to come next every step. To say I loved this book would be putting it mildly. I fell In love with the characters, the world and the writing. The spice was next level Angels, darkness, temptation, sins, mystery and those plot twists!! Book 2 cannot come fast enough. Good lord.
-
This was the first book by Harleigh Beck I read. I did as was told and checked the trigger warnings and figured I would be ok. For the most part I was but one of them was just a bit too much for me. That's ok though because this story still gets five stars from me all because of...the story. I was able to shut my mind off the stuff I didn't care for and still enjoy the hell out of this book. The whole precipice of good/bad, Eden/Hell is what hooked me in the first place. Fallen angels have always been a favorite for me.
Aurelia is from Eden and something calls to her outside the gates, a place she knows she should not go. She is of the light, purity, good and when she finally gives into the temptation and leaves Eden it is quickly realized what a mistake that was. It isn't long before three gorgeous fallen angels find their way to her and she is forever changed. Of course it wasn't hard (as the reader) to get attached to these three angels...Daemon, Ronan, and Alaric!
Perhaps one of the things I loved most about this book is that Aurelia does have a backbone. She can be so stubborn when dealing with Daemon, they bring it out in each other which only added fuel to the fire that is their attraction. To watch what forms between them even though it is fought the entire time....excellent tension between them.
Aurelia, Daemon, Ronan, and Alaric don't exactly start off on the right foot but right away I knew Ronan was going to be my favorite. I still stick by this...there is just something about him. He has kindness in him and it shows more often. While Daemon has soft spots, his kindness takes a long time to make an appearance....a long time. Alaric is a good medium to Daemon and Ronan.
Going into this I knew it was a series that will need to be read in order but I seriously didn't expect it to end the way that it did. I was hoping for a bit more closure, or as much closure as one can get in a cliffhanger ending part one of a series. I am very much ready for the next book and cannot wait to see what happens with this group of four. -
My god was this book AMAZING!!! It hit on sooo many levels for me. I devoured it in a day and haven't stopped thinking about it since!
The spice was pure chef's 💋
I'm not one to write reviews with spoilers because I really want you to read a great book without all the knowledge of what's to come.
But I will say, if you like angels/fallen angels, tons of dirty smut and a great plot that will keep you intrigued and wanting more....this is the book for you hands down. It does end on a cliffhanger but good things come to those who wait and I can't wait to see where this story is going to take off too. -
Angels, why choose, and smut? Yes please!!!! This book was one of my most anticipated reads after reading the blurb for it. I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen. Let me just tell you, I was hooked from the first page. I was anxious to see what was behind the gates and where this story would take a “sinful” turn. As soon as our fallen angels entered the room, I was hooked. Now I took my time reading this as I didn’t want to miss anything. There’s a lot to unpack, why did the gate open, will the feathers turn from white to black, what’s with the dreams. All these answers get answered and i couldn’t believe that ending!!!!!! Like what?!? Was it a dream? Was it real? What the hell happened?!?! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read it! What a great book!!! Need the second book like nowwwww!!!
-
These characters had me craving more and more with every page turn. I could not put this down! It was dark, sexy & took me on an adventure and Im pretty sure I’m unwell now 🤣 I need book two!!!
-
Touched by Sin is the first book in a paranormal/dark romance trilogy. This book is very dark and contains some scenes that may be very triggering to some readers. I can’t wait for the rest of the books in this series! This book hand me in a chokehold the whole entire time, I could not put it down😍😍 definitely recommending this book to everyone!
-
I didn’t know what I was expecting whenever I picked up this book, but I’m glad I did.
When I first started reading, there was a lot of smut and I was like should I even continue this because like it was so much. But I’m glad I continued because this was so freaking GOOODDD.
it’s been a long time that I felt some thing whenever I read a book and this had me squealing and feeling so much.
i love that the world isn’t on earth and in a place that is much like heaven and hell.
you have the fallen angels and the regular angels. who knew that they feed on blood?
Even though the main girl angel had many altercations with multiple fallen angels i barely felt anything when reading it. But when I read about her and Daemon it was a different story. The feelings affected me the most. How he acts like he doesn’t get affected by her but he does and it SHOWSSS OMGMGGG the feels.
There was so much freaking smut but the plot was there.
and it ended on a cliffhangerrrr. -
DNF @34%
I’m truly baffled by all of the 5/4 star reviews. This book was painfully cliche and uninspired.
The writing is juvenile, the plot is weak. The smut is unimaginative.
The characters are all carbon copies of every other RH book cliché.
The dialogue didn’t sound natural at all, it all felt very ‘copy and paste’.
I didn’t care about any of the characters.
I had to throw in the towel. -
This book is so great. I felt like i was Fire this whole book. It is hot, depraved and the characters are all soo delicious 🤤 fallen angels, why choose, strong FMC ugh 😩 so good!
Check your TWs there is some dub/non-con but it is so well done ❤️🔥 -
"Touched by Sin" is a dark and spicy tale that follows the curious angel Aurelia as she ventures beyond the gates of the garden of Eden and into the clutches of three fallen angels. Captured and used as a plaything by these wicked beings, Aurelia soon realizes that she has become a sinner and can never return to her former life.
As she attends the fallen angels' academy and learns the art of flying, Aurelia becomes a valuable bargaining tool for Lucifer in his bid to remain the leader of Hell. However, when she refuses to go quietly, she must face the haunting dreams of Amenadiel, Lucifer's brother, whose actions in her dreams manifest in the real world, affecting her both mentally and physically.
The battle between good and evil rages on as the book comes to a close, leaving readers on the edge of their seats and eager to know what will happen next in the series. With two more books to follow, "Touched by Sin" promises to deliver even more twists and turns in Aurelia's dark and dangerous journey. Prepare to be captivated by this thrilling and provocative story of angels, sin, and the ultimate battle for power. -
Where's my ticket to Hell? 😁 I don't blame our girl Aurelia for being curious and wanting to know what was out there in Hell because wow she was missing out!
Where do I start? Well, I'm writing this review right after finishing the book and I have to start for the ending. What on earth!!?? It definitely took me by surprise, I was 100% convinced that it was going to go one way but it didn't and I have so many questions.
The story starts off being quite simple, a girl from Eden stepping into Hell and finding sin and being corrupted. But as it unfolds, it becomes more and more complex with paranormal/fantasy aspects of the world and they kept me intrigued throughout the story.
And then we have the juicy bits (if you know what I mean 😉) which are extra juicy 😍😍😍 Harleigh doesn't disappoint, the power dynamics in this book are delicious!!! 🤤 The main characters are both equally stubborn and it's amusing how they try to "control" each other. Aurelia is a little devil in disguise and I love how she doesn't give in to Daemon's possessive fits. It's like a constant battle between them two and I loved that tension!
I can't wait to go back to Hell for the sequel and see what sinful treats are waiting 😏 Harleigh, I NEED ANSWERS. -
Fallen angels will always have a special place in my heart. And oo-wee were these fallen angles panty melting (I'm so sorry I just said panty)
Touched by Sin was an extremely fun read. The spice was AMAZING, the storyline was super interesting, and that ending nearly killed me. I can't wait to find out what happens next!
Aurelia was such an interesting character. I kept thinking of the saying "curiosity killed the cat" and the other half that a lot of people don't know about, "but satisfaction brought it back." I thought that fit Aurelia really well. The woods outside of Eden call to her and what she finds is 3 moody fallen angels that want to play with her. And she most definitely fights back.
Daemon, Alaric, and Ronan are so fun, dark, and broody. I love them! I'd trade places with Aurelia any day. Or better yet just join the 4 of them🫣 Daemon is definitely the broodiest of the bunch, but he loves Aurelia even though he has a weird👀 way of showing it.
"Let's get one thing perfectly clear. You belong to us, and you're ours to do with as we fücking please (...) You will break, Angel, sooner or later." He grabs my hand, flattening it over the hard bulge inside his jeans. "Beg, and it's yours. Beg, and no other girl gets to enjoy it."
Alaric and Ronan are sweetie pies with a dark side. I just want to give them hugs, kisses, and snuggles.
If you like dark paranormal romance, FFMMM, degradation, bratty FMCs, rough but also loveable MMCs, and a very interesting plot, then this is the book for you.
HUGE thanks to @passionauthorservices and @author_harleighbeck for the ARC -
I absolutely love this author, and of course, I demanded (nicely) an ARC of this one as PNR is one of my favourite things to read. OH BOY! Yes, that's how I felt reading it, and of course, I had to recommend it to a friend of mine who loves dark romance. This is a dark romance with wings, and now I need a fallen angel in particular, Daemon!
This is degradation, bully all sorts of wonderful things like that if you love a good shopping list with your dark romance this has it all, just like all of Harleigh's books.
I love the world-building and the characters, as for the spice! Well that was off the charts and I really can't wait for the next one.
This book is one of three, so be prepared for a cliffy. -
Arc review
I wasn’t sure it would have been been possible for harleigh to top my favorite books by her but I can say with out of doubt that touched by sin is on a completely different level….
By now I’m certain it’s impossible to be disappointed in a harleigh book because whilst there all vastly different they all bring something new and unique to the table while being remarkable but touched by sin was completely different (in the best way possible.I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book I pretty much just went in with a blank canvas waiting for harleigh to transform that and holy hell did she
The concept of heaven and hell has been the same since forever but somehow harleigh was able to take that and completely spin the narrative making you ask questions that you’ve never thought of before while still making sense.her ability to tow the line of logic and fantasy is so freaking fantastic that I’m actually in awe by this book and everything that went down.
The tension and push and pull between all theses characters was another level, there were parts where they were submitting but then flipping the switch that made those scenes an absolute pleasure to read about.
All theses characters have such a special place in my heart and mind especially dameon.harleigh told me that he would grown on me and she wasn’t wrong,in the beginning I liked him but he made my blood boil on a different level and now….well I love him. -
Oh my gosh… Harleigh Beck has done it again!!! “Touched by Sin” is the first book in her newest series about fallen angels, and it is absolutely freaking fantastic!!! Aurelia is a pure angel, but her curiosity has always set her apart from the other angels in Eden. And it is that curiosity that causes her to wander past the gates, and into the arms of a trio of devilishly handsome fallen angels. Daemon, Alaric, and Ronan are definitely alphas, and they have no problem reminding the sassy and defiant Aurelia who’s in charge. I thought this book was amazing, it was a nice blend of humor and angst. I love Harleigh Beck’s writing style, and I can’t wait to see what happens next in this world!!!
-
Touched by Sin by Harleigh Beck is a dark why choose FFMMM paranormal romance. This is the first book in the Sins of The Fallen trilogy.
I absolutely love Harleigh's books. She does an amazing job pulling me into the story. I am loving the chemistry between Aurelia, Daemon, Alaric, Ronan, and Dariana. I can't wait to see how their relationship will progress over the course of the series. I really enjoyed getting Aurelia, Daemon, and Alaric's points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait to jump into the next book Touched by Darkness.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, why choose romances, or paranormal romances. -
Oh my goodness this book has truly brought me back to fantasy and I think Harleigh Beck might be my new favorite author. This book was fast paced which I loved, the storyline was really good, I loved all the characters and the relationships between everyone, it was just perfection honestly, I thought obsession was my favorite read of the year but I don’t know anymore, this book did something to my heart and I can’t wait to read the next one asap
-
Phew! 🥵 it’s a totally addicting read, the boys, the girl 🥰 all the while our pure/not so pure FMC fights, submits and fights some more. I just can’t give anything away, wouldn’t be very fair of me 😈
Do read the TWs before starting, there is cheating at the start of this book plus all the other triggers 👹 🩸 🔪 I’m off to seek the next book. -
Fallen Angels
OMG! I stayed up way later than I should have to finish this book. I could not put it down. It had me in a chokehold from the first chapter and now that it’s over, I need the next book immediately! -
I hate to say it but I don’t know how this is getting 4 or 5 stars. The writing is weak at best.
I do think Harleigh has a lot of promise as a writer so I will continue to explore her work that she releases.
I wanted to enjoy this so badly but honesty as a reviewer will always trump the hype train. -
DNF @ 12%
It’s too much sex too soon and the dialogue is very “angsty sixteen-year-old” -
It was like Harleigh Beck decided to conjure up all the deliciously dark tropes and themes and write them into one book. The result was utterly enticing and had me devouring this book in no time. This was my first book by Beck and it wont be my last.

🩸Deliciously bad fallen angles
🖤Good girl angel turned morally grey
🩸Kidnapping
🖤Lots of kinks
🩸Plot twists
🖤Eden/Hell/Earth setting
🩸A badass, take no bull FMC
🖤An alpha-hole, dark angel that you love to hate and hate to love

Aurelia is a pure angel that has always been drawn to what lies outside the gates of Eden. The place they call Hell, where fallen angels live with onyx wings and eyes. Her curiosity finally gets the best of her when she ventures out and into the dark woods. How very unfortunate that she should happen upon (or the other way around) three deliciously dark angels who want to steal her and keep her for their own pleasure. They are sin, death, and inky black wings.
Daemon, Alaric, and Ronan think they have stumbled upon an innocent pure angel, whom they will gladly ruin, but they will soon learn they have their hands full with Aurelia’s feisty personality. They should have kept Aurelia locked up, but instead made the mistake of showing her off and grabbing unwanted attention.
Dariana comes into the mix and things start to really heat up. She is like an instigator of bad decisions, but ultimately wants Aurelia to herself. Aurelia seemed to be coming into her own and exploring all the things she was forbidden from experiencing in Eden. Things get a bit dangerous when word gets out there is a pure angel in Hell. Daemon’s own father is none other than Lucifer himself. But the real threat may be Daemon’s other family members.
I loved everything about this creative and steamy as “hell” story, including the mystery of the powers Aurelia seems to possess. That cliffhanger though! I was left reeling and wandering what’s real, and what was a dream, and what will Amenadiel do next? -

I LOVE when Harleigh writes PNR. After I was blown away by The Sweet Taste Of Betrayal, I was so excited to read this (this is separate from tstob), and Harleigh smashed it out the park.
Aurelia is a true angel, but her downfall is her curiosity, she's a little spitfire. She doesn't let anyone lay any terms down, she fights back much to Daemons disappointment. Aurelia is just my favourite little firecracker, and what was a naive girl in the beginning, turned out to be one of my favourite women Harleigh has written.
Daemon, Alaric and Ronan, are Kings of their school in hell. With Daemon being actual royalty, they fuck who they want, they bite who they want, they do just what they want. What they didn't expect was a little angel to venture out of heaven into their grasp and fight them at every turn.
When we first met Dariana, I thought I was going to hate her. She's your typical mean girl, who wants the guy. But it wasn't the guy she was after at all😏.
The story, the worldbuilding, the spice, everything was just so on point and I need the 2nd book PRONTO, because the cliffhanger, Harleigh girl, we need to have words.
