Some Wounds Never Heal (Urban Books) Reviews

It was great to re-connect with these characters after reading "Cheatin' in the Next Room". I was happy to see that most had grown-up in the intervening years--though at least one, it turns out, still had a way to go.
I became so wrapped up in the drama of these lives that at one point I realized that I was not so much reading as scanning the paragraphs anxious to get to the next piece of action. It took every bit of discipline I could muster to slow down. Still, the story ended too soon and I am once again missing these young friends.
Will I get to visit with them again in the future?? -
This book was okay, but I felt it was too long. I felt like I kept reafingnthe same things over and over.
