Enjoyment: NONE
Length: 1362 kindle
Style: Dark Erotica
Normally, I'm down for whatever within my erotic, even dark erotica. However, this story seemed promising but it was all over the place. I couldn't figure out if this was a historical read or modern. The characters Evan and Sarah, weird. Evan is suppose to have a an obsession/possessiveness towards Sarah, but I get the feeling he hates her. Evan has become obsess with Sarah since the age of thirteen, eighteen years later he is unable to control the feelings that have taken him over sexually as he tries to push her away by scaring her sexually.
I think it's crazy disturbing what Evan was doing. It's one thing to forced and rough with smutty talk, but I didn't even get the sense that Sarah was liking it. She seem like a robot telling him to do what he wants and then seemed void of any emotion watching him take what he wanted from her. What really felt disturbing was the way the author portrayed Sarah, she was so clueless about sex and even after she had intercourse , she was still clueless. It was a turn off that Sarah is an adult, but the author made her seem like a twelve year old trap in an adult's body. The whole book she was acting like a child that isn't of sound or mind. Not cool to read in my erotica.
Erotica for me is an escape and fantasy, even dark erotica and hardcore BDSM when mixed with all the different story concepts with adults, however, this story, not feeling Sarah's child personality. -
Y otra vez no entendí que estaba pasando.
