Under a Flaming Sky: The Great Hinckley Firestorm of 1894 Reviews

Being from Minnesota, this was eye-opening. I loved the detail given about the families and how they were interconnected as a community. Honestly, parts of it were quite gruesome when hearing about the aftermath. I'm not sure it had to be that in-depth.
The author not only wrote Boys in the Boat, but he had an ancestral connection to the Hinckley Fire.
I listened to the audiobook. The narrator may have done better had he learned to pronounce some of the cities like Mankato and Cloquet (which even Wikipedia gives the pronunciation as kloh-kay).
