Sakura is awake, but she remembers almost nothing–certainly not Syaoran, who has sacrificed everything to help her. Accompanied by the happy-go-lucky Fai, the intense Kurogane, and the strikingly odd creature Mokona Modoki, Sakura and Syaoran make their way into a new universe where a traveling magician has suddenly become frighteningly powerful and is terrorizing an entire town. Only a few independent-minded stragglers remain to battle for control of their own lives. Fai, the lone magician in the group, traded his magical powers to the dimension witch, xxxHOLiC’s Yûko, before the journey started. Without a weapon with which to fight, can the extraordinary group of friends defeat a master magician who can control the Earth’s elements?
Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Vol. 3 Reviews

This volume was lots of action. I don't like action scenes, wish more character development. Fai and Kurogane duo were hilarious. Syaoran is a mystery to me. Sakura is still powerless. Mokone is cutie!
In this volume we look for Sakura's memory feathers in Koryo! Korea, most likely.
I read the volume with its anime soundtrack, great experience again.
Looking forward to unraveling the mysteries. -

Volumen 2 -
A.) I get confused by the battle art sometimes.
B.) I hope the girls become a little more active soon.
C.) I really enjoy these. -
First, great big sparkly hearts for Fai. I love that he can't whistle, but says "wheet woo" instead. Tee hee!
I have to say that I wish there'd been something - a throwaway line about living alone and needing to protect himself, ANYTHING - to explain Syaoran's crazy fight skillz. Why can a young archaelogist take on giants and crowds of people all at once? And be seemingly indestructible? The Powah of Love can really only excuse so much awesome.
It also kinda bums me out how, even aside from the fact that Syaoran's whole purpose involves a kind of save-the-damsel quest, and Sakura still has that not-entirely-awake thing going on, she sure doesn't do much besides get rescued. I like her character, and would like to see her be more active.
But overall, I definitely enjoyed the book. -

Me gustó. Entretenido.

I love the story but I find the artwork in battles very confusing and messy.

Kurogane and Fai are from different dimensions as well and they also went to the witch for their wish to come true.Eventually, they went with Syaoran to get feathers(Sakura's memory)back from other dimensions in the world.Mokona Modoki is a little pet that takes them to different dimensions to find the feathers and when there is a feather near by,it'll know.
-
The adventure continues to Koryo (maybe parallel dimension of Korea?). Syaoran and friends meet Chunyan, whose mother was killed by the evil lyan ban (district ruler). Mokona sense Sakura's feather aura inside lyan ban's castle, so Syaoran and Kuroganes have to defeat the evil lyan ban in order to take Sakura's feather back.
-
Again, CLAMP keeps up their run of interesting worlds; this one uses a variant of another character they have used in the past - Chun'yan (spellings vary with translation) from The Legend of Chun Hyang.

Time for another trip to the library -already- I should have gotten a few more of these :) I like Syaoran. And Tsubasa is just fun to say. This one's a lot less cheesy than Chunchu, but more for kids.
-
I looove the town with the golden haired ghost! All the clothes make me think of some romantic french ghost story. I love Tsubasa. I think it's great how all their manga series have found a way to meet!
-
The mystery deepens. Fye and Kurogane fight side by side so well. And I wonder what's up with Fye and the king sleeping on the bottom of the ocean. It seems like the king is the only thing that Fye is really afraid of.
-
This volume did a lot for Syaoran's character. His interactions with Sakura, and especially that bit at the very end when he calls out the Ryanban's illusion. The ending was a little abrupt for my taste, but I'm gonna try and get the next 3-in-1 ASAP.

I really despised the two main antagonists. I got this book in Japantown in SanFransisco and LOVED it:)

YAY!!!!!

A few plot points were not explained sufficiently, and honestly came out of nowhere, but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed this volume!
By no CLAMP seems to have a better grasp on their environments and have managed the clutter a bit, which was a real issue with the previous volumes. Whether this will change with the next setting, only time will tell. The fight choreography ranges from standard to great depending on the scene.
Throughout the volume characters would often restate plot points discussed earlier, which made it seem like everyone had short-term memory loss. This could be due to the serialization of the manga (with a chapter coming out every week or so in Japan), but it did pull me out of the experience a bit. This was also an issue I had with the previous volumes, so I don't think it will go away anytime soon.
If you're having fun with the series, I'd definitely recommend continuing with this volume. It's a good addition that cleans up a few problems that were present earlier and the characters are as dynamic as ever. Good luck! -
Having found their first ever out-of-world memory feather, Syaoran, Fai and Kurogane are now officially joined by a conscious Princess Sakura. Well, what remains of Sakura. She has vague memories of a desert place and she knows her name, but that's it. With this new challenge the group travels to a second new world. There a town is under the tyrannical rule of a powerful magic user who may or may not have something feather-shaped in his possession.
I'm still enjoying the plot and the characters! Really want to know what the deal is with Fai's backstory, and I'm enjoying his interactions with Kurogane. I'm hoping Sakura gets to be more of a character soon. The way Syaoran has to interact with her, a stranger wearing a familiar and loved face, is a good emotional thread, but I also want to see her get to be her own person, complete memories or no. On to volume 4! -
The story is really good, but don't start unless you are in for the long haul!
The only thing that bothers me about the art is the hands. Usually, Clamp does well with that, but everyone's hands here are huge!
I love the battle scenes, they are quite intense. The personalities of everyone are slowly coming out. I am very happy Sakura is awake now so that she can help. Again, Kurogane is hilarious and Fai is sexy as heck! He is MINE!!!! I also like how both of them have so much more to them than what you actually see. When Fai smiles, best run! When Kurogane laughs, you ain't hiding! I do wish there had been some previous Clamp characters in this, like there were in the first two, but it was still AWSOME! -
* RESUMEN EXPRESS CON SPOILER*

Libro: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle 3.
Autor: CLAMP.
Páginas: 196
Puntaje: 3/5 ⭐
I'd probably put this at a 3.5. While I do enjoy the characters and it's kind of interesting to see the new worlds, I feel like I'm not really getting a chance to know them because of the heavy fighting/action focus as they have to get the feathers. This is so different from the style of xxxHolic, which I loved, that I'm just having a hard time adjusting to it. I am glad I have a giant stack of the series checked out from the library sitting in front of me, because I will keep reading and hope I get more into it.
