"The next morning I go into work early. When I open the door, the room is dark. No one has come in yet to turn on the lights. But then I see the back of Adam's head outlined as my eyes adjust. My hand is already outstretched towards the light switch, but I stop. Instead of turning it on, I put down my purse and walk in the dark towards Adam's desk."

As I was reading it, I thought that things were going a little too fast and then before I knew it, the story was finished! The book was an easy read and I liked this story but wished it was longer. There were so many things I wish were explored, and the ending - gahh, I wish the story didn't end there.

I loved this one! You could read it on your lunch break, but it's a sweet story. I love Ruth's stories for that, and can't wait until she writes another full length.
