The Avengers: Assemble! (Level 2) (World of Reading) Reviews
-
This series makes my kindergartener want to read. It’s great for your little ones to read. This gives you a introduction to the avengers.
-
Aarvik is all into Avengers and he loves all of their books.
-
Meh. It's not horrible, but it's nothing great, either. Very basic information about each member of The Avengers team, including Nick Fury, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, which was nice. Although this book did include Fury, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, I didn't think the story was as interesting as that in
The Mighty Avengers.
If my nephew adores this superhero book as much as he likes the others in his collection, then there is going to be a problem. The paper in this one is slick and flimsy, which is not going to enable this book to hold up well to multiple pawings by my nephew and his pack of active, exuberant, grubby/sticky little pre-school buddies. I suspect this book will not be long for this world. -
Not what I was expecting when I checked it out from the library. It's for level 2 readers with about a dozen words or so on each page and not many pages. It has a page or two for each of the Avengers saying who they are and whar they do (for example Tony Starks makes things).
-
Tie in with the movie and a level 2 reader that reads more like a level 1. Basic information about each member of the Avengers team.
-
Simple first reader that tells the story of the Avengers. Did not like the gratuitous sexist butt shot of Black Widow.
-
The boys love to shout out the last line of this book: Avengers Assemble!
-
Two stars because it turns words like "Tony Stark" into sight words for little boys.
