More and more women are shunning the institution of marriage. In fact, marriage rates have been declining for years and the percentages of never married young adults has reached a record low of 47 percent. With more women in the workforce, sharp increases in cohabitation, single parenthood, out of wedlock childbirth and skyrocketing divorce rates, fewer women than ever opt to tie the knot.

Timely and relevant, Don't Say I Do! challenges the institution of marriage as the first choice for women in the postmodern era. It reveals that the rules of the game have changed drastically; our lifestyles have loosened and become hectic. It will inspire women to think for themselves seriously consider alternatives for achieving satisfying, rewarding lives and reclaim their strength in today's changing world.

Don't Say I Do!: Why Women Should Stay Single Reviews

Don't Say I Do! is an excellent book, very encouraging for single women. If you are looking for the perfect gift for your friend or daughter give her this book. Let her know you’ll support her decision to not embrace antiquated relationship ideas. Choice is one of the best gifts on offer, and women have more power now, than perhaps ever, to choose their destiny. Marriage is one of the choices, but not the best solution for today's women. According to the writer, women can lead successful and happy lives as singles and unmarried women with or without relationships, with no obligation to sign anything or pathetically commit for good.

Here is my review in my Spanish Blog:

This book is a compilation of several testimonies of women that for one reason or the other ended up not getting marriend and later on discovered that life was still possible. Duh. Nothing enthusiastic enough to create a whole new world pro-single-women movement. Really.
