***Warning! MAJOR spoilers for The Goddess Test***After (barely) passing the tests to gain Immortality, Kate, who is now married to Henry, must leave Eden for six months as a promise to her mother. She decides to go on a trip to Greece and takes her friend James with her, who is really one of the Gods, Hermes. Told in Kate and Henry’s alternating POV’s, they must each deal with the new changes in their lives. Kate must deal with what it means to be immortal and she learns her new family is not who she thought they were. She also has to deal with being away from Henry and the doubts she has about him and their relationship. We get to learn a little bit more about Henry, who is learning to have someone in his life. He’s also trying to deal with the fact that Kate has left with his brother James. Will Kate stay faithful to him or will history repeat itself?Kate and James get into a little bit of trouble when they run into Castor and Pollux, who have been on the run from the gods for thousands of years. The gods want to banish them to the underworld forever but Kate believes they deserve a second chance. Kate must find a way to rule the underworld without losing her humanity and she has to find a way to stand up to the gods. I gotta say that I am totally loving these e-book novellas. It's a great way to make fans happy while we are eagerly waiting the next book. And I also LOVE that most of these are in different POV’s. The Goddess Hunt is a great addition to the Goddess series. For only $1.99, it’s a steal! Although it is not necessary to read before Goddess Interrupted, I would recommend that you do read it. It’s a quick read, but worth it in my opinion. 4 out of 5 sparkly stars! Some of my favorite non-spoiler quotes from The Goddess Hunt:- “They’re not as bad as you think they are.” “And they’re not as good as you think they are either.”- “Thank you, Kate Winters,” said Lux. “You’ll make a brilliant addition to the council.” My cheeks warmed. “It was nothing.” “Doing the right thing is never nothing,” said Casey.- Henry watched as they disappeared through the trees, and as soon as he could no longer see her dark hair, he closed his eyes. These six months were hers to do with as she willed; he had no say in it, and he had to respect that no matter how much seeing her walk off with James wounded him.***Read more of my reviews, author interviews and giveaways at:Nereyda @Mostly YA Book Obsessedhttp://BooksandSparkles.Blogspot.com
