Excerpt: Aigaios ( in Greek) is the Titan god of sea. He is the son of Gaia and Pontus. Oceanus was neutral during the first war between the gods and Titans, but Aigaios and Kronos both tried to convince Oceanus many times to participate and he still refused. Tyson says Aigaios is one of the Titans helping Oceanus protect the Princess Andromeda from Poseidon. In the second war with the gods, Oceanus and Aigaios both agreed to fight in the war, specifically to fight Poseidon. After the gods won, Aigaios and Oceanus fled back into the depths of the sea. When Percy, Thalia, Grover and Zoe were being chased by Skeleton Warriors at Hoover Dam, they were trapped with the skeletons coming from all sides.
