Her ten-year class reunion looming, Jessica Troy decides she’s been a virgin long enough. With the recent promotion to her dream job, her only dilemma is whether to choose businessman, Deacon Wilder, or mechanic, Boyd Caldwell, to initiate her into her first sexual liaison.

Deacon and Boyd haven’t spent a considerable amount of time searching for perfect woman to share their unbridled lifestyle, but they both agree she has to be willing to not only watch threesomes perform, she must also enjoy their exhibitionist lifestyle. However, Deacon’s a workaholic and Boyd is admittedly picky where women are concerned. But they both agree that Jessica Troy is the best contender they’ve ever known. And they’re smitten with her.

Unfortunately, Jessica has a debilitating case of stage fright. Will Deacon and Boyd still want her if she’s deathly afraid of doing what they enjoy most?

Let me preface this by saying that I listened to the Audible audiobook version of this novel.

I have always been a big reader of a variety of genres, and when vision issues caused me to curtail my reading, I was pretty upset. Then I discovered professionally-narrated audiobooks. I soon discovered that not all audios or narrators are created equal though.

Remember in school, when the teacher made you stand up in front of class to read your report? Well, I am THRILLED to say that the performance of Terri England, the narrator for Unbridled and Unridden by Elle Saint James, does NOT bear any resemblance to those class reports.

I honestly cannot imagine a better voice to narrate this erotic novel than Ms. England's. Her natural hint of a western accent was perfect, considering the setting for the story. She did an excellent job in differentiating between characters' voices, even when several of them were male. Her delivery held the depth and good tone needed for the guys, and brought forth more emotions - fear, curiosity, passion, anger, humor, and happiness - than any other narrator I have happened across. Plus, she handled the explicit erotic scenes with aplomb, and certainly much better than I imagined they would be. Well done, Ms. England!

As for the book itself, this is one very steamy menage story. Elle Saint James also did very well writing it. The premise was believable, and the characters had depth and were very likeable. Or maybe that should be lickable, because boy oh boy, Boyd and Declan have got to be every red-blooded woman's fantasy!

Elle Saint James writing and Terri England's narration is definitely a winning combination.

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.

3.75 out of 5. It's always fun to watch sexy guys find a way to bring the woman they love into new experiences, especially if she is uptight and knows little of the world of menage. Yet this is definitely a short novel and feels really "light weight" and I'm not really sure why. It is an entertaining read, but I find that it felt rushed in places. I have read other work by this author besides this series and find he to be very good at what she does. I just didn't think this was one of her best.

The premises of this series is interesting and shows different aspects of the menage relationship. In this one is about Deacon, Boyd and Jessica. Their own story of being overworked and afraid.
