The Hungry Frog Reviews
-
A book with not much substance and it's only allure being the puppet wiggly eyes feature. The green frog has little sock type puppet eyes that you can put your fingers in while reading the book to make the frog look around on each page. It's kind of neat, but with not much of a story line, the book doesn't hold the attention of my 3 yr olds much. More a gimmick than anything else.

The finger puppet eyes are fun for the littlest readers, but it would have been better if there was more substance to the story.

Mama read this to me the other night. I like helping move the eyes.

Fun little book where you move the eyes with your fingers. The kids love it. Goes DARK at the end when the frog eats a firefly. Not dark in his tummy, of course.
8/10 -
Great story. We enjoyed the wiggly eyes as well as the concept of the story.

This is one of my favorites because it is so fun to see the frog's eyes move! Sometimes I move them myself, but Mama read it to me the other night and did the eyes extra funny.
