I love this book! And I tore off the flap for the number 1, oops! 🙈

  • Krystal Akman

My son loves this book, he counts it out loud, and traces along with his fingers. He even started saying what each object or thing was as he counted. I love that it is educational.

  • Dana

My wee one loves to trace and peek into all of the doors - learning math through exploration.

I mean, it's a book for toddlers. My son loves it. And I love that he loves it.

I love this book because it is a BOARD book whose numbers go to TWENTY. It seems that, to me, that is very hard to find since everything only goes to ten. My son's always had a love of numbers and was counting around 19 months; but it was hard to find anything that would take him to the next level without advancing his reading level or switching to books with thin pages. I love that this book caters to very young toddlers, with bright pages and high contrast pictures, but doesn't assume that young means incapable of moving on to more.

It's a special treat for kids and parents, when the little ones learn to count. Bright smooth pages have familiar items for kids to count, like balloons, birds, boots and flowers. Grooves within the shapes of the numbers allow little fingers to trace and learn. Flip open the little pockets to see the hidden pictures inside.

The back of the book has traceable numbers and addition problems. Helpful hints will assist parents and have the kids learning and counting in no time.

Learning to write numbers by tracing them with your finger... brilliant! There is even a bit of simple addition!
