Mutants in Avalon (After the Bomb #5) Reviews

This RPG world reminds me of the old DC Comics series Kamandi last boy on earth. Nice reference book for gaming in this setting. Recommended

Very cool druid class within these pages. Definitely a must have. =)

This was a truly fantastic "old school" role-playing game supplement.
Yes, it is a rehash of King Arthur...and yes, that's been done, done again, over done, and also done...but for some reason, it really works in this setting. Perhaps it's some type of Disney's "Robin Hood" nostalgia creeping in, but playing through/running a campaign about the rise of King Arthur whilst simultaneously playing mutant animals in a post-apocalyptic setting really, really, really appeals to the gamer in me. There's something magical, forgive the pun, about running around in chain mail armor on a motorcycle (or even better, giant...mutant...riding...snail) with a long sword and a 9mm pistol, as well as an assault rifle and a shield.
I, for one, feel very inspired to run a game featuring the rise of King Arthur and his leading the effort to rebuild the post-apocalyptic world.
