B. Moni's "If It's Love" is a sweet 'friends to lovers' story that unfolds slowly and drew me in. The characters take their time revealing their feelings, which feels very real but might be a bit slow for some readers. Although the romance wraps up well, I wish to see more of what happens after they confess their feelings. Overall, it’s a heartwarming story that leaves you wanting more. -
Love me a good friend to lovers read! Germany and Zyon were best friends, who had been toeing the line of more for some time. Both were afraid to admit their feelings for the other, so they played the friend card. They protected the other fiercely, along with the great friend group they had. When Zyon’s boyfriend showed his true colors, I was sure that Germany would step in and get his girl! But as it goes things happen. Zyon was afraid to open up to her friend when she had a great opportunity, and that caused bad blood between them! Germany became stubborn as hell, instead of voicing his concerns! These two got on my nerves with all that! Just let that ish out! Ughhhh…… Cute, quick read! 👍👍👍

friends to lovers
I’m a sucka for friends to lovers. Zyon and Germany have been friends forever. Their parents are best friends so their friendship was inevitable. Both Zyon and Germany have been holding back on telling each other the way they feel about each other but after Zyon’s latest heartbreak the pair start to want to express their feelings. I enjoyed the story but wanted more story in the time of them being separated that 6 month timeframe. I also thought Germany was crazy to cut Zyon off and then Zyon forgave him too fast. But it’s definitely worth the read. -
Not for me
I was excited for the troupe in this book, and the review had me excited to read, but this book wasn't for me. There were way too many inner monologues happening and not enough character dialog. This was also supposed to be a book about two best friends finally getting together, and that literally didn't happen until the very end, 86% of the book to be exact. They both spent the entire story talking in their heads about wanting to be together and other people telling it should happen only to get a little moment together( and not even a good one at that). I was also bothered by the main character being labeled "a big girl" only for her to lose weight in the end and finally get with her friend. Did not enjoy. -
Loved It!!!
Germany and Zyon have been best friends since they were children. They each had deeper feelings than friendship towards each other but it never seemed to be the right time for them to declare their love for one another. Once Germany decides it's time to do so, Zyon's circumstances change and their friendship is put on the line. I loved how protective and caring they were of each other and how both of their families were rooting for them. I was glad that Zyon's ex got what he richly deserved. This is a friends to lovers book which is one of my favorite tropes that I really enjoyed reading. I just wish we got to read more about them once they got together. -
GOOD READ
I loved Zyon and Germany's story. It was very well written, great storyline and character development. Zyon and Germany had a solid friendship that no one could come between but they also had feelings for each other beyond that friendship. I loved how Germany was very protective of Zyon and willing to do whatever it took to make her happy. It took some time and a lot of push from their circle for them to get together but I was happy they finally confessed their love for each other. This friends to lovers story came together nicely without too much drama and the focus on finding real happiness after heartbreak. -

Beautiful story. Real life situations. Wish Zyon’s brother was mentioned more but that didn’t take away from the beauty of the story. Jacari got his what was due him. Nina got hers as well. All couples were cute. Now when is the wedding?

My first read from this author
I enjoyed this read as well as the characters. The story line was on point my only issue was the last 20% of the book seemed rushed. All in all I would read another book by this author’ -

Zyon and Germany were best friends for a long time. There was feelings involved but neither one them said anything. Unfortunately, things are in the way of them being together. This is a good friends to lovers book that I recommend you read. -
