The way I was about to DNF this book at 99%!!! I had my one ⭐️ review ready!! Tomato tomato tomato 🍅 🍅 🍅 was being thrown at Dak’s head because I know sis wouldn’t do me like that! I know she wouldn’t drag me through an entire three book series to end it like that! But alas she redeemed herself on the last two pages of the fkn book! 😩😩😩While there are a few things that I wish would’ve played out differently, I still enjoyed the series. There were way too many characters in the series and too much going on to recap but just know it was worth the wait and I’m really hoping to see more from a few of these characters because I feel like there is still more of their story to be told! This was easily a 5 star series but she lost a star on this last book due to editing or lack there of 🥴🥴

IVY.. HOW COULD YOU?! cas cheated on you & beat you!!!
nova was there for you and even went to jail over some shit that your husband set up!!!! CAS SET UP CALI & you blamed nova! after you found out cas was behind, you still accepted him and RONNIE'S baldheaded ass baby AFTER she set you up with cash who ultimately put you in hot water with ethel!!!!!
this was too damn much. & i wish raya found out about cash conniving ass.

NOVACANE
Wow, what a rollercoaster this series has been. I was really shocked by Ivy's actions. After all she went through with Cas and his backhanded deals, which basically set the wheels in motion for Cali's disappearance, she still stood by him. I was glad when Cross went in on her because she deserved it. So many secrets and people could not be trusted. I did like the reunion between Drey and Cali but I felt for Raya and her triggering moment. I would definitely want to read an update on that and also BrittNee. She's another character who left a mystery. That ending with Nova was a shock but I should've known with Cre and Ez as friends they won't let you down. I still feel Cas got off too easy. Can't wait for what the author has in store next. -
a good recovery
This is the end of a series! The treatment plan is complete! I want to celebrate but then again I am sad that I won’t be in the world of these characters anymore. However, DAK gives us new characters to hope for and returning characters to fiend after…. Koi, Yaniq, Amour, Diamond.
First we were addicted, then we overdosed, and now this is our recovery. The events of the book was a great resolve. Our recovery is good! We not going through withdrawals. The way that Dak wrapped the book up, this is the closest we will get to a happy ending in DAK’s Universe.
I read this book in one sitting. I enjoyed it. The writing was everything, so vivid there were a couple of moments I wish I could see it on tv (Cas falling out of the bed, Tah Tah busting Cas lip). I can’t wait to see the stories for the newly mentioned characters. -
Good Series But Aggravated
This series was good can’t lie but it aggravated my soul and not in a good way. I don’t understand how these women be doing so much for man that do them so wrong. Ivy was mad about the pregnancy and this man get her pregnant AGAIN and she accepts the baby Hell Nah. The worse part of it all he has another one on the way. Clearly it’s gonna be a spin off or something since it’s so many unanswered questions within the story. Cas got away with a lot the fake killing wasn’t enough for me. Ivy did Nova and Cross wrong asf and I didn’t like it at all or her towards the end. I felt everything Cross said to her cause all she do is use people and got the nerve to be mad at Ethel besides trafficking kids they damn near the same, Takers not Givers. -

This book really wrapped up all loose ends and gave these characters so much room to grow. The author really let these characters do all the talking and push all the limits. I appreciated that as a reader when you know these characters in and out it’s so important the even through growth they don’t change personalities this author stuck to that no matter how bad the situation was the stuck together and got it done in true Bonaparte fashion .This book was packed with everything we have been looking forward to from these characters. It hourly enjoyed this journey this series have been amazing job. Can’t wait to see the next generation kick it up a notch. -

Ughhh you just had to redeem Cas huh?! But I guess in this situation, first love conquers all. The dang secrets that came out, whew! I definitely wanna know what happens with BrittNee and the baby and of course Nova situation. Great read, you did your thang per usual Fav. -

This book pissed me off cause I didn’t like how they did Nova. That shit was messed up and he didn’t deserve that. I surely hope she bring him back with a better story and happy ending. Cause now I can’t even get no sleep thinking about how she just let Nova go down like that. 😤🤦🏽♀️ -

I enjoyed this book. Dak made me little worried with my boy Nova. There were many emotions with all the characters. I was happy about Cali returning home. Cas change surprised me. Ivy was finally happy. -

This is my first time reading books my this after I have laughed cried and have gotten angry reading this series but I truly enjoyed this series this author pen game is no joke pleases take a chance and read this series omg page turner a best -
