Animal Snuggles Reviews

Since my kid started babbling, she can make all kind of noises animals make and it makes her happy. While reading this book I showed her all the illustrations where mama and kid are snuggling each other and she started making all these happy animal sounds.
This book makes us realise that love is not bounded, it comes in all shapes and sizes. A mother's love or rather parent's love for their children will always be unmatched and incomparable. Love doesn't need a verbal language it can be expressed through your body language. Love is universal and exists in every part of life. That's what this book teaches us.
This was a cuddly and comfortable read.
Thank you Netgalley and sourcebook kids for the ARC in exchange of an honest review. -
Animal Snuggles is an absolutely adorable book that I would 100% recommend if you love cute animals. It has a beautiful illustration style that makes each animal look super sweet, and features an engaging rhyming verse across the pages along with facts too. At the back of the book there are pages that offer additional facts which I really enjoyed reading. I didn't know some of the animal behaviours and found it interesting to learn about even as an adult.

Darling book about the different ways animals show affection to their children. Loved the mom and child at the end hugging and the pictures were beautiful. My 7 year old loved the book and naturally showed affection with me while reading the book like rubbing noses together, hugging, etc. Such a great way to learn about animals and teach love at the same time.
I received a free copy from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own. -
An adorable non-fiction picture book set in rhyme that share with little ones how animals show affection. I loved this book and if I had any little grandchildren - mine are all too big now - I would snuggle with them on my lap and read this to them every chance I could. Such a feel good - and the illustrations are so sweet and calming. Simple prose so that children can recite with you as you read! In addition to the rhyming text the additional bonus of a short sentence explaining the animal behavior is on each page and then when you get to the back of the book there is a glossary of sorts that goes into greater detail about each one of the animals highlighted in the book. Love It! Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for the advanced copy. Looking forward to the actual release this November 2023. Make a note to check this one out and add it to your personal or classroom library.

My children and I loved this book! The illustrations are amazing and they show perfectly how other animals snuggle with their babies! We were so delighted to be able to learn more about these animals towards the end of the book, as the author decided to add more detailed facts about them. This is a very sweet little book that works well as a read aloud for young children. For younger kids, it's a simple bedtime story about the ways animals show affection in the wild, the additional text provide more background for preschoolers and older toddlers
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review! I will also post this review on Amazon on the release day. -
An adorable picture book that teaches about animals while showcasing how all animals snuggle in their own ways with their babies. I loved the way the book was simple but also detailed, especially at the end of the book, as it contained informative facts about the animals in the story. The artwork was impeccable because of how it hit the mark when it comes to adorable depictions of animals with their young. I loved this book and wish I had a paper copy. I appreciate being able to read it as an ebook early review copy through NetGalley.

Animal Snuggles does a great job of showing children how different animals connect in a fashion that is interesting to them. The illustrations in this book are great and add so much to the story. I also really enjoyed the section at the end where you can learn more about the animals mentioned in the book. I read this with my three year old and he approved. It held his interest and said he enjoyed it enough to want to read it again.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a review copy of this book! -
This is a very cute animal book to read at bedtime or nap time as it reads very much like a lullaby. However I had to read through it twice; the first time reading just the main text and the second reading the subtext as well because I didn’t like how reading the animal facts interrupted the rhythm yet I do appreciate their inclusion and I’m not sure how else they could’ve done it as they don’t really fit in with the animal facts at the end either. Overall a nice read with adorable animal pictures.
Thanks to NetGalley for providing this book. -

I love this book! The illustrations are gorgeous and I liked the fact the text is also educational. The animals featured are diverse as well as the people towards the end of the book. It’s also neat that there is additional educational information about each type of animal at the end of the book. I highly recommend Animal Snuggles: Affection in the Animal Kingdom. -
This sweet children’s book depicts all kinds of different animal parents with their babies. From dolphins to kangaroos, this was the perfect read for any little one. The artwork was beautiful and kept my son’s attention as we went through the book. He loved to identify the animals as we read through the book.

This is a very sweet little book that works well as a read aloud for young children. A sweet and very cozy picture book of animals snuggling in the animal kingdom. Shorter and larger text makes for a great read aloud for babies and toddlers, while additional supporting text on each page adds information about the animals in question. The illustrations are lovely and very cute. This is an excellent animal lap read.

Brief summary: Young readers are shown how various animals display affection towards their babies.
Comments: There are large double-paged illustrations with the parent and baby.
There's a back section of the animals and more specific details of how they snuggle with their young, the name of a baby, and their home.

5 stars (I loved it)
Adorable!
I love how there are bigger words on each page and then smaller words that explain more. This allows for scaffolding for age and attention span. You can read just the big text or read the smaller text too to learn more about each animal. There is also backmatter that tells more about the animals featured in the book. -
Lyrical and sweet, this book invites little ones to explore the way animal parents show their love for their little ones. The illustrations are soft and colorful, and the rhyme makes this book perfect for winding down at bedtime. Back matter includes more facts about the animals featured in the book. My toddler stayed interested through the whole book! Highly recommend.

This book for young children has a nice to read rhyming text about How Animals show affection and subtext that explains a little deeper. The illustrations are absolutely adorable, and the back matter includes extra information on each of the animals listed in the book. And while your at it, be sure to look at the beautiful end papers!
