Time is running out for Hiroshi. He must find his fated mate before he is forced into an arranged marriage with an alpha known for not taking no as an answer. With the goddess on his side, he meets Roan, his fated mate and an alpha that seems willing to give their unconventional mating a try.
There are unforeseen consequences for shifter kind when the four try to bond that could change things forever.
His Bonded Omega Mate is book #3 of the Sweetwater Pack series and should be read in order. This book is slightly darker than the previous two, with more instances of violence and some off page, though discussed on page, coerced consent. While there is MMMM content, this is not a poly romance for Roan. In this series, men can carry babies and also lactate.
His Bonded Omega Mate (Sweetwater Pack #3) Reviews
-
Roan is running over with tasks on the compound. Blake and Kade left for Kade’s and the unborn babies' health, with Roan in charge. After a brutal attack, it’s clear some members want to get rid of Roan.
Hiroshi is a tiger shifter, and healer, taking care of his comatose betas Tate and Asher who suffer the beta flu, the three are bonded.
Hiroshi’s heat is close and young Alpha Jared, son of Alpha leader Logan, forced him to share his heat with him. He’s cruel and abusive, and above all the cruelty, Hiroshi is obligated to mate him.
He’ll never survive this man.
There’s one way out, he has to find his fated mate.
Hiroshi and his betas find sanctuary within the Sweetwater Pack, and above all the drama Roan seems to be his fated mate. Talking about complicated!
Roan has no aversion again Hiroshi’s two other mates. Only it isn’t that easy. For fated mates maybe, but what about Tate and Asher? They found their purpose with their new pack, what if it doesn’t work with the four of them?
The way how this complicated relationship between the four of them has been developed was genius, including the awkward, emotional, hurtful, uncomfortable, and comfortable feelings, oh, and let’s not forget about the sexy moments. The struggle is huge, at times a nightmare, not all alters are the same, as I said talking about complicated!
Let the course surprise you because dang, the outcome was exceptionally done.
There are attacks, it seems there’s a traitor among the pack.
There were so many things to love, the inner conversations with their alter were amazing, and the bond of the pack, What I so appreciated was the different POVs coming from all four men, the insight we got this way from their past and the way they deal with all the experiences in the present, together and individually. So well worked out.
My heart hurt so much for sweet and loyal Roan, he’s been through so much pain, carrying around so much guilt, with so many arrows pointed at him.
The Stillw… (inside joke) The Sweetwater Pack was such an amazing pack, far from perfect, but besides that, it’s a great pack, with room for all sorts of shifters, raven, lion, tiger, bear, and of course wolves, there are elves, enforcers, demons, witches, healers and a mighty impressive Alpha pack leader.
Absolutely amazing written story. ALL the stars! -
So excited to receive the arc of this, it was absolutely amazing and perfect addition to the series!

I just finished my arc of the 3rd book in the Sweetwater pack series and it's a doozy folks! First things first. I alpha read this book, but I promise you'll get nothing but honesty from me in this review. I'll even admit I was a teeny bit worried going in as I'm not usually a big fan of MM+. No that's not quite right. I enjoy it, but there are a few qualifiers I need and open communication is one of them. It helped immensely that we got all 4 MCs POV. I was able to see what was going on in their heads, even if it went against their actions. Honestly based on how things were turning out at the start I had no idea how Stuart was going to pull this all together and give everyone an HEA. Asher was the MC I was rooting for the most (I love an underdog, or underlion I guess?), while Stuart was ready to banish him to Luna knows where!
There were a lot of things that had to happen for these MCs to find their way. Their struggles felt realistic to me. Sometimes no matter how much you wish for something to work, it doesn't always happen. You can't magically make a relationship perfect, especially one with not just two, but four individuals with their own feelings to take into account. A lot of time was spent with one or more of the MCs too busy trying to make another person happy, than actually figuring out what it was that was going to make THEM happy too. It took them some time, and a lot of hard work, but eventually Asher, Roan, Tate, and Hiro found their balance and I truly believe it worked out how it was supposed to in the end for all parties involved.
Now aside from the romance, we have some major revelations that occur. I'm not going to name them, because it was great being surprised when I read about it. There is so much potential for where the next books could go. Though I'm a huge fan of Axel and cannot wait for his book, hint hint, I'm also dying for Larken as well. That man was such a support to Roan and his family, even though it must have hurt him to do so. I need that giant lizard to get his happy ending. It's no less than he deserves for being a stellar packmate and friend. -
This book is amazing from start to finish!! I skimmed over the second book, His Rejected Alpha Mate, to make sure that I had some of the particulars in mind settled before we started Roan’s story. It really is important that you’ve read books one and two before tackling His Bonded Omega Mate.
Hiroshi is in a relationship with Ash and Tate, a bonded Beta pair. He feels a love for them strongly enough to put his life in danger when an Alpha in his pride becomes obsessed with him. When the Alpha abuses Hiroshi and Ash and Tate, the three ask for asylum within the Sweetwater Pack. Roan doesn’t meet Hiroshi until after Elliotte’s first kidnapping attempt when he’s hospitalized and in need of treatment to heal his wounds. They both feel the mating bond so strongly and both jump at the chance to become a family. What makes their match even more special is Roan’s ability to accept Ash and Tate into their lives. This begins a situation that is so gripping and at times unsettling for the family of four. Roan already has a target on his back just for his relationship with Kade. Will his ability to see beyond gender and designation roles and his sweet nature as an Alpha put an even larger target there as well?
This story became so much more than I expected. I am at a loss writing this review, because I don’t want to give even a piece of it away. There is so much to love about each of these men: Roan, Hiroshi, Ash, and Tate. Were they perfect? No. However, they were worth fighting for as a friend, as a lover, and as a chosen family member. As for the rest of the story, I love this Sweetwater Pack!! I am enchanted with this world of shifters, magic, elves, and demons. I love the way this pack continues to grow and how the characters continue to make me fall in love with them. I can’t wait for the series to continue. -
“Reaching out, I stroked my fingers over skin, not knowing who I was touching, but feeling so much love in the room…This whole thing would have been to much for most alphas, but the Goddess had ensured they had given me this one. A man that understood my love for my betas.”
That was an intense ride! His Bonded Omega Mate inspires so many emotions. It is a beautiful and at times gut wrenching MMMM love story, although not poly for all characters. Roan, Hirishu, Tate and Asher have so much chemistry and all the best intentions, but we all know what they say about good intentions. It was a balancing act of anxiety for these beautiful characters and fanning myself cause this book was hot.
Aside from the love story just like the first two books in the series, there is so much going on: the repercussions of the Beta sickness, continued strain from other packs, some fun cameos from Northarbour and some new paranormal friends.
I am completely addicted to this world and have created so many ships in my head! Oh please, Jax, they all need a happy ending! -
What a wild story!!!
Two betas, one alpha, one omega. Lots of love, steam, and complications!
Hiroshi is a Japanese tiger shifter with healing powers who’s found his place with two betas, Raven shifter Tate and lion shifter Asher. Since Hiro hasn’t found his fated mate, he’s being forced into a union with the horrible son of his pack’s alpha. The only way out is to find his mate, and leave his betas.
After a horrible attack forces Hiro, Tate, and Asher out of their home, Hiro is blessed with healing Roan, a handsome and kind wolf shifter…and his fated mate.
All four men are determined to bond together, but it’s not as easy as it seems. A twist of fate adds more complications for the foursome, and they don’t know how to make it work.
This is a super cool take on ABO, and features:
-Shifters galore! Wolves, ravens, bears, tigers, lions, even a Komodo dragon!
-exciting twists and turns
-magical elves, witches, and demons
-overbearing alphas
-sweet as honey omegas
-mpreg -
His Bonded Omega Mate (book 3 of Sweetwater Pack) is an angsty one. Written incredibly well (a given with Jax’s writing) this book takes you on a rollercoaster ride.
Please make sure you read book one and two before this one as the arc spans over the whole series.
This book’s relationship(s) is between 4 MMCs and it develops wayyyyyyyyy differently than what I’ve expected. There’s a sweet, gentle and understanding Alpha, a too cute for this world Omega (who has been through so much, poor Hiroshi) and two Betas.
The aftershocks of the Beta sickness are still around in the Sweetwater Pack environment while Alpha Blake is trying his best to find the troublemakers that don’t agree with his leadership style. Roan meets Hiroshi after an attack on Blake’s girl when he finds himself in need of a healer (which happens to be Hiroshi’s job). They are instantly drawn towards each other and Roan is more than understanding for Hiroshi’s “situation“ (he is mated to two Betas). Adding to those complications, people have a lot to say about the unusual relationship between Roan, Hiroshi, Ash and Tate. Like I said previously, the relationship between those 4 develops way differently from what you might expect and it is glorious 😊
This book is darker and angstier that book one and two and the story is incredibly well—rounded. Be prepared for heartache, gentleness, a lot of suspense and a huge surprise. -
This book was so good but be ready for it to be much more serious than the others so far. That is saying something because both Kade and Jasper fought their fated mates at first. But Roan, Hiroshi, Tate, and Asher have a much bigger problem. What if all four people are not fully committed to being in such a mated arrangement? It isn’t Roan’s fault and it isn’t Hiroshi’s either. This set of mates has to work for their relationship and it isn’t easy. That was actually one of the things I really appreciated about this story. The fated mates pairings don’t always 100% get along at first and have to work to find their balance and happiness. Roan and Hiroshi definitely deserve some happiness after everything they have been through. My heart broke for them through this book as they all struggled to find their balance. I was about ready to throttle one of them. I won’t say who because I don’t want to spoil anything but Tate, Asher, Hiroshi, and Roan have to find a way to exist in each other's space. Tate and Asher are just as important in this book and it is told from the POV of all four of them. It is a good lesson in patience and communication though. Truly enjoyed this story and can’t wait to see where this is gonna go. I love all of these characters in the Sweetwater Pack, including some new ones like Larken, Roan’s roommate.

I probably should have reread at least the second book in the series before starting this one. It took me a minute to remember what had been happening and to keep some of the secondary characters straight. But I quickly remembered how much I love this world, the story, and these characters.
This book is definitely darker and heavier than the previous in the series, and they were not light. Heed trigger warnings. With as heavy as the story can be at times, the characters are extremely resilient. They had me smiling and laughing right along with them. We've been introduced to all these characters before, and it was great to get to know them more and to see Roan get his HEA. He's been through so much and completely deserves it!
When reading the blurb, I wasn't sure how we were going to get MMMM contact while keeping Roan out of a poly relationship. The situation was complicated, but it definitely worked out and made sense for the overall storyline of the series.
I am really loving this authors writing. It's complex and filled with emotion. There's plenty of heat and the characters are so loveable. This book had tons of drama and angst. I can note wait to see where the story is headed and to see more characters get their HEAs!
I received and ARC of this book from the author and this is my honest review -
This series is definitely best read in order, and I also recommend reading the spin off January Blues, as there are quite a few spoilers for past stories and introductions to characters that I think would be helpful. January Blues is a bit tricky since it fits right in the middle of His Bonded Omega Mate in the timeline (it starts before HBOM but then ends somewhere in the middle).
Roan has been through quite a bit and sacrificed a lot for his friend/ex bf Kade and it's time he got some love! I liked the way that Roan, Hiroshi, Tate, and Asher tried to make something work between them all but in the end it didn't work out. It kind of felt real but the best part is that they are all still very much apart of each others' lives. Hiroshi has some awful things happen to him that forces him, Tate, and Asher to find sanctuary in Sweetwater. The pace was really well done with all the characters getting to know each other and also with the action of external forces. Plus we get four POVs, so we get to see how everything plays out from all the major players.
I'm super excited to see that there's more planned for this series as there's a few more characters who I hope get stories! Plus, I can't wait to see how the big news that's revealed plays out for all the beta characters. These characters are fun and the love they share is really sweet! -
Book 3 of the Sweetwater Pack series is at another level than the first two, as well as the novellas and January Blues, book 1 of the spinoff series (which I do recommend reading before this book for the full experience). Roan has been through a lot already, by the time he finally meets his fated mate, Hiroshi, in this book. Hiroshi is already in a relationship with another bonded pair, which is only the beginning of the complications facing these 4 men.
I don't need to go into plot details to tell you that this book is absolutely worth the angst and the journey you will go through to read it. I gasped aloud probably no fewer than 4 times at major revelations that happened. I am not kidding when I say this book is epic. Roan goes through SO MUCH, but he gets his HEA. Asher is very hard to like through much of this book, but trust the author's vision. I am very attached to this whole world that the author has built, and cannot wait for the next in the series. -
It isn't every author who can write a good poly romance and writing one with four personalities is incredibly difficult. I'm picky about such efforts and an author has to prove they can keep the personalities distinct and show how the relationship meets different needs for the different characters both among all four and between different pairings within the group. Sometimes everything works for everyone and sometimes it doesn't. Jax Stuart does a superb job here with Roan, Hiroshi, Tate and Asher showing what works and doesn't work among all of them, how they deal with that physically and emotionally and how all of them fit within the bigger world both inside and outside the pack. The addition of Hiroshi's abusive alpha made for great tension and I'm a huge fan of any book with a great, hissable villain. Definitely my favorite entry in this series.

So so many feelings were in this book! It was filled with ups and downs and then your heart is pounding and stopping! You never really knew for sure if it was going to all be okay for our men!
What was amazing through it all was how our author had confidence to put their characters through all of it!
Roan, Hiro, Tate and Asher are going to be some of forever heart characters in this series! Their dynamic through it all was amazing even with the flaws and challenges! Their commitment to all those things to try and make it work to pull together despite them was off the hook all about the love they felt for each other!
This story was for me a truly unique one and I loved it so much!
Sweetwater Pack is one of my favorite series! 💜🧡💜 -
So, Roan has found his fated mate in Hiro, and then some! This story also includes Tate and Asher in a uniquely surprising way. I loved that we got all four of their POVs as well. I do not want to give too much away because the relationships between these guys is so complex and unique. The way they struggle and work through it all together is amazing to read. I appreciated the realistic take on the romance in a fantasy story. We are still dealing with the Beta sickness and other outside issues as well to keep everything fresh and page turning! The romance side has some stunning chemistry and hot steamy encounters too! I am loving this world and all the beautiful family being created!

INTENSE AND MAGICAL
This is quite the AMAZING Book. SWEETWATER PACK has plenty of angst and interesting situations. Roan has been working for Kade. When new shifters arrive seeking sanctuary the whole pack is affected. Hiroshi a rare cat Omega shifter and his companions Tate and Asher are allowed to stay, all things change very quickly. This is an interesting dynamic all the way around. JAX STUART gives you a Book that's full of yearning and unconventional relationships. I really enjoy the way this series keeps you on your toes. Dig in and enjoy the ride. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS SWEETWATER PACK SERIES!!!!!!!!!! -
I was really looking forward to Roan's story. The idea that his omega, Hiro, brought a pair of betas with their bond was quite intriguing. The reality, not so much. Asher comes across as a bully, Tate is wishy washy. And Roan's nice guy persona makes him into a doormat.
Things settle down, eventually. There's a HEA which is very hard won. There's a sword hanging over their heads with Jared still out there and the Council in disarray. Guess that will be solved in the next few books.
Not my favorite of the books, the kidnapping was very similar to book one's. Still, a solid read. -
I love this series ❤️ this is book 3, a lot happens. Not only does Roman find his mate but his mate hiro comes with added guys Tate and Asher😏 not all is smooth sailing though with Asher he has a lot to sort out, does he sort himself out and be there for the rest, you will have to read for yourself. Be prepared this guy brings out the feels. All four do.
I finished this one in a day I just couldn't put it down. Looking forward to what comes next. -
I love this series and was excited to see there was another book. This one features Roan, Hiroshi, Tate and Asher. Roan and Hiroshi are mates, but Hiroshi is emotionally bonded with Tate and Asher. I loved the dynamics of this story. There was a lot of ups and downs that happened but I was rooting for them to make it work. Great world building and steamy. Cannot wait to read more.

Another Amazing Story
I wasn't quite sure how this would work out with it starting with fated mates and two extra bonded mates but this was another amazing story. Things were definitely not easy for these mates but it all winds up with a great ending.
I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion -
Interesting
This was different and complex but that's to be expected when you're dealing with four completely different men.
Roan, Hiroshi, Asher and Tate had a lot of issues to work through and there was e pressure from outside forces bringing danger, drama, plenty of intrigue and twists and turns. -
This book was so much more than I expected! It has so many complex subplots and twists! I loved the entire story and especially the ending! Can’t wait to see what is next for the Sweetwater pack.
-
This was such a great addition to this series. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I love how the relationships ended up at the end. I can't wait to read the next book. I really hope Larken gets a HEA.
Thank you so much to the author for the ARC. -
Was an alright book, it was supposed to be MMMM however it was more like 2 couples wound together by a person who kind of made it 3 couples kind of odd but it was interesting. I liked Roan I’m the first couple books and was very happy to see him get his happily ever after despite how rocky it was.

Really like this series
Not my favorite in the series because it felt like there were a few too many plots and kidnapping and such than was needed to tell this story, but I do really like the characters and the world that this author has built. Looking forward to Axel’s story.
