Suddenly, Draco has an unwanted second chance, with a Sorting Hat that doesn't know what to do with him, a certain Muggleborn who won't leave his study table alone, and green eyes he just can't get out of his head. And then there's his new wand, whose choice of him could just mark him as every bit as dark a wizard as his name means he should be.

Absolutely god-tier. This fic is to drarry as manacled is to dramione. 100% a must-read.
By far the longest fan fiction I’ve invested my time in with 1,200,000+ words (original hp series is just over 1,000,000 words) but I have no regrets. This author took pains to stay true to the books and the integrity of each character. They recreated all 7 books with the most differences being in books 6 and 7, obviously. The changes Draco made by his insertion into the action felt authentic. We seen him become a cohesive part of the storyline, far more than in the original plot.
This fan fiction was well worth the amount of time I spent reading it, and all of the emotions that came with that. 🫶🏼
Here are some quotes worth mentioning:
“And everything in the world was dull in comparison to Harry Potter.”
-
“It was past pleasure, almost agony to feel this close to someone, and from zero to a hundred, so forcefully.”
-
“And that was a bargain he thought fair enough, since however grave his sins were, he did intend to die for them.”
-
“It feels good to be powerful. But there's a reason to be powerful. Nine reasons."
Screaming, crying, throwing up. I took so long to get through the final 2 installments of this fan fiction because I did not want it to be over!! 😭
