  Worth the price of purchase just for the Gchat essay. Kent Russell's depiction of the Gathering of the Juggalos was entertaining as well, even if its timing is a bit late. (There have been a couple of profiles on the Gathering of late.)
  
  Richard Beck's Pitchfork skewering was labored and pretentious, though, and ultimately felt like a fun-house mirror reflecting the bad elements of the site in question. How was there no mention of the music festival, too?

  Definitely one of the better (if not best?) n+1s I've read. Pitchfork article was good, though it left a lot of questions unanswered, a lot of promises unfulfilled. Juggalos article was really good; I would have enjoyed another twenty pages as it seemed to end just as it was picking up steam. Or Faygo. Did have that DFW feel, though what doesn't these days? Very odd that the Lish article was incomplete; I don't think I've seen that before in a journal. Excited for the Helen DeWitt novel. Really liked the piece on chatting, the Solution From Hell and the Cavell articles were lost on me. Great Prop 8 article as well. Guess that covers it. Good review.

  This is on my Bookshelf and on my iPad and yet none of these titles look familiar. Assuming I may have skipped this one somehow, I'm just going to give it 4 stars and assume you're not reading my review, just starGazing. Presumably, it's awesome. N+1 generally is. It's about 80% likely my 4-stars are accurate. Enjoy it.
