The first time I met Ash Kelly, he stripped off his jersey and gave it to a little girl in the crowd, charming an arena full of fans in the process. Then he tossed me a puck and asked for my number. I was with my jerk ex-boyfriend, who was less than impressed with the whole thing.
The second time he crashes into my life it’s as my patient. There’s no way he should remember me, but he does. Being Ash’s nurse is torture. He’s stubborn and frustrating, and he won’t stop flirting with me now that he knows I’m single. He’s even recruited the entire hospital to help him win me over. And it’s working.
The more time I spend taking care of him, the more he breaks down my defenses. He’s kind and considerate, and he makes my heart race.
But I’ve sworn off dating and getting involved with a charming, handsome hockey player like Ash feels like a terrible idea. We go our separate ways again, despite our undeniable connection.
I should have known it wouldn’t be the last time. For some reason, the universe keeps throwing us together.
I’m finally ready to give him a chance, but there’s one little problem. My ex-boyfriend just got a new job as the assistant GM of the Wildcats. And the only thing he wants more than me is to screw over the man I’m falling for.
In Your Wildest Dreams is a hockey romance with a cocky, cinnamon roll hero, spice, banter, and a happily ever after. It's the fourth book in the Wildcat Hockey series and can be enjoyed as a standalone.

honda civic reliable 3 stars - I still recommend
writing: ight but not great | plot: teenage WAG fantasies come to life | ending: let's slow down here😂 | spice: fairly cringe-free until he reached under his bed.........
my opinion
Back-to-back hockey romances??? WHO AM I???? Do I get to level up my Canadian-ness???? Although this one wasn't as strong as
The Fake Out, I still recommend if you're looking for a good palate cleanser with Hallmark after dark vibes. If you've ever had a WAG fantasy as a teen, this one's for you. Yes, it could benefit from some editing (some scenes were really unnecessary), but who am I to judge when I read the entire thing—yes all 402 pages—in an evening. Clearly, I enjoyed it.
Like The Fake Out, I didn't want to elbow Ash in the face. He wasn't a dick, he didn't play any games, and he could take/make a joke. He didn't really have a backstory, but that's fine. Most of the focus was on Bridget and her dickwad ex. I thought her characterization was a bit wishy washy, but again, wasn't a dealbreaker. There is an age gap here: he's 29, she's 22 *shrugs*.
The ending was a whirlwind and there's one spicy scene where he pulls out a spreader bar from underneath his bed that I'd like a follow up Q&A session on but more importantly... NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The next book better be Jack and Everly. I'm lowkey nervous because of her age (20) but if I see this hoe on NetGalley I WILL be requesting it
pros & cons
pros: my teen WAG fantasy come to life 😂, decent banter (would've liked more), fmc played college tennis (yes this is a pro lol), NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP, Ash was normal, HELLAAAA bingeable, Bridget's storyline with the ex was handled nicely
cons: could've used some editing, needed more banter, a lil corny and awk dialogue but not a dealbreaker

Casually obsessed.
I absolutely adored Ash and Bridget’s love story. Their meeting was so funny and cute, and fate bringing them back together in a not so great circumstance was perfection too. These two just absolutely belonged together and I love how Ash slowly breaking down some of Bridget’s protective, for good reason, walls led her to so many people who love her. Thats one thing I love about Rebecca’s books is that the love story is always beautiful and fun, but the friendships and found family are what truly keep me excited to come back for more. The Wildcat team and all the people who come along with it are some of my favorite fictional people. Bridget’s story is a little bit hard to read at some points because she had a terrible relationship experience before meeting Ash. That said reading her healing and learning trust and to lean on other’s for help again was as beautiful as it was emotional. Sigh.
Anyway. If you’re looking for a hockey romance that’s emotional, sweet, and fun, then In Your Wildest Dreams is it. Ash is falls first and falls hard perfection and Bridget is a heroine many can relate to and many would embrace with open arms.
I read In Your Wildest Dreams e-book and audio in tandem. I think the voice actors did a fantastic job bringing this story to life with the audiobook. This is told in dual point of view, so one actor reads the heroine’s chapter and another reads the hero’s chapters. I am pretty sure the audio releases the same day as the ebook/paperback.
**Side note: the E & J crumbs in this one were perfection. No clue if we are getting a story for them, but I’m rooting for it. Like rooting hard since Wild About You 😂
TW/CW (will contain potential plot spoilers): allusions to past partner violence, ex partner verbal/physical abuse[grabbing] on page, discussions of mental/verbal/physical abuse from an ex romantic partner, stalking from an ex partner

LOVED! easily my new fav rebecca jenshak book!!! hockey romance, he spots her in the crowd at a game and is instantly smitten, then later she ends up being his nurse hehe.
really enjoyed this one. from how they met to the progression of their relationship, ash's consistent yet patient pursuit for her trust 😭 i just couldn't have loved it more. and the friendships!! the guys/team and then bridget finding friends who truly had her back no matter what. made me feel all warm n fuzzy -
I absolutely adored In Your Wildest Dreams.
Rebecca Jenshak delivered an incredible, sweet hockey romance.
Ash Kelly eyes fell on a beautiful woman during his pre-match warm up, but his attempt to go out with her fails when another man sat next her. Imagine his surprise when after an injury he finds out that his nurse is that same woman, he won't miss this sacond chance to conquer her.
I have to say I'm a little obsessed with Ash, he is really a charming and kind man, but his best trait is his patience. Bridget is a strong, independent woman, but her latest failed relationship left her a little wounded and with the fear to open up to a man again. The thing I loved more of this story is how Ash tries to gain Bridget's trust in every way he could but without becoming annoying and oppressive. They are so cute together, they make each other really happy, and I cheered for them throughout the book.
I highly recommend to check this book out.Copy kindly provided by the Publisher/Author.

ash and bridget were everything and more😭🤍 from ash first seeing bridget and not letting it go even if it meant he was never gonna see her again, i knew this book was gonna eat. i love how ash fell first and bad!!! and bridget is seriously an inspiration. i love seeing hard working women in books and she was everything. I love this book so much

my 100th book of the year!
i really loved the series and this book was not disappointing, it was so cute!! i just love how wholesome the little (big) family they’ve formed is, and i want to hug every single one of them
i really loved ash’s energy and the relationship bridget had with her roomies was amazing. i really enjoyed it 🥺🥺
i have my theories for jack’s book but idk if i’m crazy? -
3.5 stars
This was cute! Not my favorite since the hero was smitten and after the heroine the whole book and the only thing stopping them from being together was just the heroine not wanting to commit. So it wasn't surer angsty, which I was wanting some more of in this book. I did think it was cute how the hero helped the heroine trust other people and get out of her shell and make friends. I'm not a huge fan of ex drama and that ended up coming in at the end, but I enjoyed the rest of the book! -
thank you @valentine_pr for a copy of this arc for my honest review!
omg i absolutely LOVED. this book. from the moment i opened thisbook i was immediately obsessed with Ash. he was everything i love in a mmc!! bridget was such a badass fmc and i also really connected with her. this might be one of my favorite hockey romances!! ash and bridget’s relationship was everything to me and i miss them already!! -
Sanki gelecek yazar dedi. Ama emin değilim. Lütfen gelsin.
Yaş farkı - abinin en yakın arkadaşı 🤌 -
4.5 stars! In Your Wildest Dreams is book 4 in the Wildcat Hockey series and I was so excited about this one after binging the first 3 earlier this year. This is a hockey romance, where he falls first, she’s his nurse, has found family vibes, and “who did this” energy. And omg I loved it so much!
I loved Ash Kelly and how much he’s totally into Bridget from the start. This starts off at a hockey game, he’s warming up but spots her in the stands and is instantly into her, he even tosses her a puck asking for her number even though she’s clearly on a date there with someone else. 😂 I just adored how cocky and flirty he is, she asks if he should be skating around or something instead of trying to talk to her, he says he can’t since he just me his future wife and needs to know if she’s single!
About a month later they meet again, when he’s in the hospital after a concussion and she’s his nurse! He can’t believe his luck to see her again and isn’t going to let her slip away so easily this time when he finds out she’s now single. I just adored these two together! I loved how determined he is to win her over and just to help her out in general. He finds her an apartment when she needs one, with some of his friends. Which the friend group in here/in this series is just so good! Things also get complicated when her toxic/abusive ex becomes an assistant to the team’s GM and finds out they’re seeing one another!

I loved this! Rebecca always writes the cutest, feel good sports romances that I never fail to absolutely devour.
This is book 4 in the Wildcat Hockey series following Ash & Bridget. Ash plays professional hockey for the Wildcats & is one of the last single guys among his friends & teammates. He’s ready to settle down & find someone to spend his life with when one night he spots Bridget in the crowd at one of his games. Unfortunately she has a boyfriend at the time so nothing comes of it. A month later he sees her again after he gets injured in a game & Bridget ends up being his nurse while he’s there. But when Ash finds out she’s newly single, he makes it his mission to prove to Bridget that he’s worth taking a chance on, despite her just getting out of a bad relationship.
First, their meet cute? So freaking adorable. Probably one of my favorites that I’ve read! I was swooning for Ash Kelly instantly after that moment. He was nothing short of perfection. Patient, kind, thoughtful, charming, etc. I think he and Bridget really evened each other out & were a match made in heaven.
Prior to this, I had only read book 1 in the series but now I can’t wait to go back & read books 2 & 3. I love a good series following a friend group & this one has such a strong found family vibe that’s hard not to fall for!
I was lucky enough to receive both an ARC & ALC of this book so I switched back & forth to read this. I really enjoyed the audio, the narrators are some of my favorites & thought they did a fantastic job.

The Wildcats Hockey team are the best. Wow this book made me feel good.
Ash is the most patient, the most kind, the most thoughtful man wow I want this Ash in my life too.
Bridget is tough but also very nice. Her work is really important for her even if she had to deal with a very flirty Ash 😅. I loved her so much.
This story was absolutely amazing, the Wildcats is a wonderful family unit. The best one. I loved everything in this book.
What I love the most is that Bridget wasn’t easy with Ash, and the fact that he was so patient with her 😅. The tension and their love was perfect.
Both characters were so lovable. The vibes all around hockey was incredible and the Wildcats team with their wifes and family was crazy.
I’d definitely recommend this book.
So if you love Hockey Romance, when the MMC falls first and hard 🥰🥹 go ahead. -

Tropes:
— Hockey romance
— He falls first
— Who did this to you?
— Found family
— Forbidden (ish)
— Slow burn
This was a really cute hockey romance! Our MMC fell first and boy did he fall HARD. It was definitely love at first sight for him. He picks her out of everyone in the stands and is hooked from there. 🥹
She’s his nurse and her ex works on his hockey team (general manager or something I think? I can’t remember). So them being together is a bit of a struggle as there are a few factors stacked against them.
Overall, I loved the characters, and there was no third act breakup, so this one didn’t hurt me and was more of an easy going read. ☺️ -
the progression was so weird to me. and there was like 0 depth in their relationship…super disappointing. and i don’t particularly like any character. at least he respected her boundaries though.

ok ash had me blushing i wont lie… -
I loved Ash and Bridget's book! I didn't want to stop reading! So good! Rebecca did another fabulous job!
Can it not get any more sweeter when he spots her out of a huge crowd at a hockey game? Swoon.
Ash is truly enamored by seeing Bridget in the crowd for the first time. Of course, Bridget is with her boyfriend at that time so she turns Ash away.
But who does Ash find in the hospital where he's recovering from an injury but none other than Bridget! Who happens to be his nurse! Yess! Let Ash's swooning begin.
I very much enjoyed seeing how their relationship developed and how patient Ash was with Bridget. Bridget was focused on completing her nursing classes and got out of a very bad relationship right after she met Ash. She was hesitant on beginning a new relationship even if she did have feelings for Ash.
Ash's friends/teammates were supportive and welcomed Bridget into their group. I loved seeing their interactions with Ash and Bridget.
When Ash and Bridget do get together, their chemistry is explosive. I love their connection!
I definitely recommend this book and can't wait until the next book in this series! -
One night during a game he sees a beautiful girl in the stands. He blatantly flirts with her right in front of her boyfriend who is ignoring her. But the girl is unfazed by his flirty. After a game, Ash sees the same girl being treated roughly by her boyfriend. When he tries to rescue the girl and stop her boyfriend, she brushes Ash off and goes home with bf. Ash is disappointed but what can he do? A month later after being injured during a game who walks into his hospital room as his nurse, none other than the girl he tried to rescue, Bridgette. And he finds out that she broke up with the bf that night. To say he is pleasantly surprised is an understatement. But Bridgette isn't ready to start up something. She needs to find her footing again . . . alone. Ash respects that but fate has other ideas and they keep finding their way to each other until they finally give into their pull.
I adored this one. Ash didn't disappoint. He was so sweet, understanding and patient with Bridgette. I am not one who usually enjoys a slow burn but their story was so sweet and endearing, I loved how their relationship developed. It felt natural and sweet. I loved how hard Ash fell for Bridgette and everything that he was willing to do for their love. Swoon. He was perfect. Highly recommend this book and this world. And all those Everly easter eggs . . . I am so ready for it. -
Thank you Emma for bullying me into reading this

another confirmation that i am SUCH a hockey romance girl
EDIT:
i have been meaning to read the wildcat hockey series for the longest time, and i am SO glad i finally did!
although i jumped in with book four, this book has met every single expectation i had for this series and fully confirms that i am such a sucker for hockey romances.
he spots her in crowd and is immediately obsessed, but she’s taken. a little while later, he ends up injured and guess who ends up being his nurse? if that isn’t the best meet-cute, i don’t know what is.
i love the boy-obsessed trope, and ash truly personifies it. he had me swooning and in love within the first chapter. he was so persistent in his chase of bridget, and i’m not going to lie, i would’ve caved SO QUICK if i were in her position. but his patience and care for her was so sweet. but don’t worry, he will also have you BLUSHING when you get to the spicy scenes.
bridget is such an angel, i want to protect her at all costs. it’s no surprise ash was head over heels from the first moment he saw her.
and, of course, like any good sports romance, the found family aspect won me over. it’s one of the best aspects in my opinion, and this book did it perfectly.
if you needed more convincing, this book has NO third-act breakup!
thank you to rebecca jenshak and valentine pr for the arc in exchange for an honest review<3

“Can’t. I just met my future wife and I need to know if she’s single.”
I’m just glad Ash didn’t end up with Grace. Him and Bridget were so cute. There was a nice flow to this story without too much drama. Enjoyed seeing all the other couples again. No third act. Hea with them engaged.
Tyler remains the superior mmc in this series 🙌🏼
Safe. Bridget rejects Ash multiple times so he tries to move on. Meets two ow and goes out with 1 of them, nothing happens.
I think Everly might end up with Jack?? Idk I hope not considering he has a revolving door of women and she gets a front row seat to all of that but we will see 🥴 -

i really did like it but i took me more than halfway through to get super into it. rebecca wrote it so well, but i just couldn’t find myself really connecting with ash & bridget at first. i hate when that happens, especially when the book is good because this one was! i just think i’m not a slow burn girlie and that’s okay!!
ash and bridget had good growth & development and i really enjoyed that! the found family element was also one of my favorite parts of this book; i loved that a lot!
this was my first rebecca book but i’m definitely going to read more and see how i feel! -

I’m like an eager school girl every time Rebecca’s books land on my kindle! I couldn’t wait to devour Ash’s story and devour is what I did!
Ash has been a kind hearted, sweet “brother” to most of the boys and their women in the last few books of this series and I have been dying for his story! This book was so much more than I could’ve ever imagined! From the way him and Bridget met to how they grew closer was perfection!
Bridget wow! A very strong, intelligent and independent woman! I loved how flipping brave she was! When you finally get her full story you can’t help but just want to hug this woman!
I love this team and their families so dang much! I can’t picture life without the Wildcats and I’m so sad I finished the book so fast but so happy to see everyone and see that they are still all as crazy as ever! Can not wait to see who is next!….please be Jack…PLEASE!!!!! -
Talk about mixed feelings. I loved the setting, the characters and most of the tropes, and the execution wasn’t bad, but I wasn’t okay with some aspects that kept me out of the story.
Ash Kelly was very swoony. I was a bit miffed that he basically fell in love with Bridget at first sight, without knowing anything about her, but the story was a slow burn and they had plenty of time to learn about each other before they became a couple–lots of seduction and banter between them, and ridiculous pickup lines. He was a real good guy: loyal to his found family, generous, respectful. He wasn’t even exactly a player. So I thought the way he approached intimacy didn’t match his character.
Facing that kind of book boyfriend, Bridget was of course a little bland. Not uninteresting though. She was dedicated and ambitious, and she had a good heart and a good head on her shoulders, mostly. But I must admit she made a few stupid decisions. I kind of saw her point though, she was an abused woman and left with some scars.
Around them, there was a bunch of fun characters. Ash’s team and spouses come back, with a couple of recognizable faces from the previous books in the series, and some we can’t wait to see in the next. The people surrounding Bridget were mostly functions: her ex is the villain–without clear motivations either–and the people at the hospital, who are quickly discarded, are here to show the dedicated nurse she is, not much else. I enjoyed the way she meshes with Ash’s friends though, especially Everly.
As for the setting, I couldn’t be happier. There was a bit of action on ice, which was fine, but I mostly loved the book’s themes linked to being a hockey player: working as a team, doubts about the future… They resonate too with Bridget’s struggles, and that was a nice bonus. We see Ash’s injury, how he deals with it, the impact on his professional and personal life. That was interesting.
All in all, it was a good book, but I felt the author had great ingredients and a legit recipe, but messed up and added too much spices. And not the good kind. A missed opportunity, though not by much.
