The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook Presents: 10 Summertime Treats Reviews

Seems only potentially good for the Lemon Pop and Pumpkin Juice. From what I've seen from the full Unofficial HP Cookbook, (and of course Pinterest), these could definitely be better.

  • RavenPoeACup

Downloaded this cookbook, looking for cool and fun things that the kids could make on Thanksgiving.

    Lots of ice cream recipes

Never tried to make homemade ice cream without an ice cream maker but would love to give it a try after reading this book. Pumpkin juice recipe sounds interesting too.

    Nice

It's worth a shot if you like reading Harry Potter and would love to try the food given in the books.

  • Jade Bowen

The recipes are kind of hard, but the food turns out great.

  • Heather

A fun way to bring the book series alive for the kids (or kid at heart). Great for summer treats with a Harry Potter theme. Especially if you are going out to see the latest movie or planning on a visit to the theme park. Lots of good ideas but I think I am going to have to buy the full length version for some of my favorite treats from the books.

I only own (and love) The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook and was thrilled to find this mini book I can carry around with me on my iPod Touch. And it was FREE!

I'm making Triple Power Icy Lemon Pops this week and will make the Butterscotch Brew Slushies as soon as I have the ingredients on hand!

  • Patricia Puckett

Such a cute little ebook. I always enjoy (free) recipe books, and I can't wait to give these summertime/Harry Potter themed recipes a try. Such great ideas! Would be great for a Harry Potter themed wedding or any other summer party.

  • Lilla

Great mini-cookbook full of Potter treats. Will have to use some of these for Halloween!

  • Victoria

    Very cute.

  • April

I have not tried any of the recipes but I am looking forward to trying Pumpkin Juice.

  • Hannah

I thought these recipies were the cutest, little thing and it is FREE! Its something I can sink my teeth into literally and as well as metaphorically.

  • Busylizzy111

ok for a free ebook. Not sure if I'm going to recreate one of the recipes..

  • Kit Bauman

I'm not much into making ice cream, but I'd like to try the butterbeer and pumpkin juice. We'll see how it works out. =]

This cookbook was only a 3 star for me.
I do believe there is good information, substitutes and clear instructions.
I feel this cookbook may be a little difficult if you don’t cook at least a little bit.
I feel the recipes can be a little much for some and or they just appear to be a little overwhelming at times.
There are quite a bit of desserts or was that just me?
It’s good not horrible just maybe a little much at times but I do believe many of the recipes would be very good.

  • Taylor

Honestly, I just did a quick flip through. There was some narrative on where the recipes came from and why they were included but I didn't read that. I mostly just looked at the recipes and honestly, most of them I wouldn't make and probably wouldn't eat.

  • Maria

Haven't tried any of the recipes as yet, but I'm glad there's a collated book of all my fav HP foods, recipes do look promising and do-able so will definitely try!

  • Jen

There are some really good looking recipes in this book that I am excited to try out.

  • Rachel

No recipe for Butterbeer...and that's mildly irritating.

  • Beth

What a fun cook book! LOL I copied down a few recipes!

  • Jane

    No butterbeer?

  • Sharon

Love how everything comes together if you're a foodie especially!!

  • Emelisa I Perez

    Easy to follow directions

Easy to follow directions and ingredients. I haven’t tried any recipes yet but will in the future. Doesn’t seem hard to buy ingredients.

  • Rebecca Sammon

    Great recipes!

The recipes are great and easy to understand. I can’t wait to try more of them with my nieces and nephews.🥰

  • Kristin Roach

Cute idea to liven up otherwise ordinary recipes.

  • Grace
