Kids in Ancient Rome (Kids Throughout History) Reviews
-
This history book contains many nice photos and illustrations. It is very simple to read and keeps children's interest. It covers a basic history of the Roman Empire, Roman cities and their design, Roman housing, clothing, (women wore stolas and men wore togas), food and eating, family life, education, and religion. It has a glossary of words at the end. A good book to get a child started on the study of history.
