The Real Pirates of the Caribbean Reviews

  • Cassie

Interesting, just very, very short. Time to dive in deeper!

  • Cate

A pamphlet-sized book that explains why piracy could not be stopped sooner. (One word: mismanagement.)

  • Joy Shak

I checked this out of the library because it sounded really interesting. When I opened the book, I found it was only 18 pages long. Short informational and interesting read, but I wish it was a lot longer.

  • Amanda

The true history of pirates of the Caribbean that had been recorded in history.

I really enjoyed learning the truth behind the pirate age. I enjoy the legends behind some of the biggest pirate names but I appreciate the recorded history more especially since most of the records had been lost to time and very few records had been rediscovered.

Plus reading about one of my favorite girl pirates Anne Bonney was what made this book interesting as well.

  • JoAnne

Very interesting book on the history of Pirates.

  • Lillie

This was a very brief overview of the pirate age. It was interesting but didn't have a lot of detail.

  • C.R. Elliott

This is a very short essay, worth the read but I'd call it an introduction or synopsis more than anything.

  • Amy Chichi Hsiao

a bit short but very nice
