Disneys Poohs Grand Adventure The Search for Christopher Robin (A Little Golden Book) Reviews

  • Lynn A. Davidson

When Christopher Robin was going to go to school for the first time, he tried to explain to Pooh, but Pooh didn't want to hear about it. In the morning Pooh found a message from Christopher Robin but he didn't understand. When all his friends get involved in trying to find Christopher Robin they all get into a big mix-up through which they learn about their strengths.
    Cute story and lovely illustrations.

This is an adorable story that would be great for any child with separation fears, feeling negatively about themselves, or have recently lost someone close to them. Brilliantly written and lovely little pictures to help the story carry along.

This Little Golden Book tells the story of Pooh and his friends going in search of Christopher Robin and along the way learning things about themselves they didn't know. The book reminds readers others can be with us even when they are not physically present,

This was such a nostalgic read. I grew up loving the Disney movie.

Momma read this book to me during floor time. I really paid attention during the pages where I could see Rabbit! Mom said one day I’ll go to school too, just like Christopher Robin.

  • Stephen Snyder

What a wonderful book on teaching children the values of loyalty, friendship, and courage!

  • Eulene

Braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think <3

  • Jean

I would actually rate this lower, but when this has been lent to you by a colleague that has down syndrome, and she passes it to you when you attend her deceased father's wake ceremony.
Emotions are definitely going to come into play.

    The lines;

You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

Rings so loud in your head, especially when you're recently watched Christopher Robin.

It's a good story -- there is a lot you can do with voices of characters (do you know how to do their voices?). This is the favorite book of one of my students -- every week I read it at least once. Beware the skullasaurus!!!

  • Karen

This is a book based on a not-very-good movie. Even so, the book is better. Maybe because my internal narrator sounds like John Cleese.

I do find it funny that "school" is spelled "skull", and the illustrations are delightful.

A gift from Abuela for Christmas, the boys love the whole set.

    An adventurous story!

Another book that impresses me with the author's skill at packing a whole story into only 25 pages. I loved it. It had some inspiring lessons for kids. It's fun at any age.

    Good Disneyland prep!
