I read this book when I was young, when my fascination for true crime was just beginning to be explored. The sections in this book on assassins and massacres, children of crime, women killers, gangsters and so on make this a great source book. Each case is briefly outlined, paving the way for further reading on a certain case or for a quick fix of whatever you're after. I liked the pictures and the easy layout of the book and it's small size in addition to its contents. All in all, this book deserves 5 stars for feeding my eleven-year-old self's timid appetite for true crime.
